Hmmmm... you're not dead yet... are you? Coz this is a really looooooong lag of "no updates".... it's depressing...upsetting...annoying!

Hmmm, you know how there's a rain dance? I need to invent an update dance. Alas, dancing, my kryptonite. *shudders*

I totally understand that life can get in the way of writing. Trust me, I'm a med student. Oh the horrors! How dare life not happen around m/m fics...or, you know, just m/m in general.....*shifty eyes*

*cries* I'm so sorry! My friend took my wireless internet connector box away from me in an "intervention" type mode. I wasn't doing any school work so...she kinda forced me away from my temptation.

Anyways, just wanted to let you know that when I was going through the cyber version of detox, I thought of you and Independence. Good news is that I got a 98 in my class and my friend was so mad that I beat her that she gave me my wireless internet box back!

I love love love this story! It's so cute and entertaining. I'm pretty sure I laughed several times reading it. I liked how you made your whole own world and society, and you even gave sufficient background on the culture of this world. I loved that aspect. I really hope you update soon! I can't wait. :)

i love this story, you've created an entire society - it's brilliant. I can't wait to read more. Do Ri's go nakede all the time? if not i can't wait to see Lucien try and introduce Lex to pants - all lex will want to do is put them on and cover himself but at the same time he'll know a 'normal' Ri wouldn't know what pants were :). And do Ri's have names - i mean do the Ro's give them names since they assume that they can't speak? Lex'll have a hard time with that as well - excpecially if it's some sort of cutesy pet name (not that he has room to talk - he named his brother Angel).
