hey :) yay!!! you updated and FAST too :D *hands you an awarddd* amazingg :) anyways that chapter was soo cute and finallyyyy a reunion!! *sing "reunited and it feels so good" in the background* :P hehe on another note i just realized that according to your story lexis had not gone to the bathroom in over two days :P a bit odd..... i wonder how his bladder is doing haha well thanks soo much and ill keep reviewing every sunday if i can <3 betrayed

took so long for the next chapter that I'd forgotten about the story, even though I found it really good when I read it last time.
Feels like the story will start to pick up speed from this chapter and onwards. :) I'm looking forward to it.

YAAAAAYYYYYY!!! Thanks so much for the update. On the one hand, I'm so excited. But on the other, now I'm sad 'cuz this means that means there probably won't be another update for awhile (although I hope this isn't the case, we all understand that real life can be incredibly busy and some things just have to take a back seat). As to the mushiness, I feel it was just right. I like the internal debate Lex is having with himself about Lucien. Especially since the story is called Independence, I'm glad to see that he isn't just giving in right away to his dom, even though it seems as if Lucien is the fated dom to his sub. I absolutely love he and Angel have been reunited! But please don't leave us hanging too long (if at all possible) as to what's wrong with Angel. Why did Goldwind suddenly bring him over? What happened to make Angel so upset? Did Goldwind do something, was it just the abrupt separation from Lex, did Angel 'sense' that Lex got hurt, or is there something else/more going on? As to the pacing, it could stand to be picked up a bit, but overall, I love this story, so no complaints here! Although you would be a rock star if you could update a bit more frequently (like perhaps at least once a month), but no pressure. Your truly loyal readers love this story and are addicted. We will keep coming back no matter what. So kudos and keep up the good work. You are a very talented and gifted writer.

I absolutely LOVE the conflict between Lex's Ri instincts and his human upbringing. Talk about crazy mixed signals there.
I'm laughing my ass off at Lex right now too because it has become supremely obvious that Angel is the intelligent one here. Lex knows all about the 'human' world but nearly killed himself trying to escape and get to his brother and Angel knows absolutely nothing about the situation and can't even talk but managed to get himself back to Lex. HA!!

I'm guessing Angel did something like throw a massive fit or refuse to eat or cry the entire night. And who can blame him!! Lex at least knows that Angel is 'safe' (relatively). Angel has NO idea what's going on except that a giant monster snatched him up and took him from Lex. Anything could have happened to Lex as far as Angel is concerned. No wonder the poor kid is so upset.

Lex is adorably impulsive. If he's going to escape he's going to need to learn to pick his battles and not jump the gun. If he gets his act together, he can get himself and Angel out of there. I can see poor Lex trusting his human friends to safe-house them but I don't trust them. For money and the favor of a dragon, there's probably one in the bunch who'd betray them. There may even be some who think of Lex as 'less than human' if they find out he's a Ri.

I spent the entire chapter wanting Lex to just randomly bite Crescent or suddenly sucker punch the guy. Just for the hell of it. I mean, what's the guy going to do about it? He thinks Lex is a wild Ri, so Lex should act 'wild': hide food all over the house, attack the television, run away with important documents, break things, make a lot of noise and 'imitate' Crescent if the dragon cusses.

I wonder if it has occurred to Lex to just tell Crescent to back the eff off. If these douche bags love making their Ri's happy then this entire situation might be solved if Lex just opens his mouth and tells it like it is. On the other hand, if there are any other Ri's living like humans and the dominants found out, this could start a 'Ri hunt' in the city.

I am so glad you updated this story; I absolutely love it. The character interaction is fantastic between Lex and Lucien. I can't wait for more.

i love this story, its so sweet. i cant wait until Lucien finds out he can under stand that will be a grate thing to read. the story is wonderfully addicting. please update soon.

I must say, I am rereading this story for the third or fourth time and loving it even more. There are a couple of grammar errors, or missing words every once in a while, but the story is still wonderful. I can't wait for you to write more
