Okey dokey. I'll review, and not just for the cookies. >.> (Though, if you're feeling generous, any sort of chocolate cookie is probably the way to go!)
Now then! =) I just swallowed the 3 chapters all at once, and I have to say I really enjoyed it! I'm not one to really read so much as I am to write, but this was worth it and I'm glad I did! <3
I really enjoy Mera's perspective far more than Nisien's, and I'm not sure why. I suppose I just prefer to see the inner workings of a complicated Seme character as opposed to an Uke's.
Also, I LOVE your notes. I knew a great deal of those words simply because of my own love for knowledge, but I think for other's it's going to be a pleasant mystery and when they learn what they are they're going to be eager to commit them to memory. So, in a way, it's kind of educational! Lol. =)
For review hoppers, don't go thinking this is some cliche, boring whatever. I know all about skepticism and may have even approached this story with some, BUT... I walk away not disappointed and am about to reread it. =D

For some reason this cut off a big chunk of my review. So. I'm just going to retype it here. Huzzuh. I have to say I enjoyed Mera's perspective far more than Nisian's (hope I spelled these names right), but then it's probably because I enjoy reading the thoughts of a complicated Seme than Uke. But that's me. Also, I LOVE your notes concerning less than common words. It's useful for those who would not know offhand to hat you are talking about, and I think once they find out they'll be eager to commit such words to memory! Which is good. As writers we should enlighten and broaden horizons, you know? Hehe. And even for me whose love for words and knowledge was vast, you might have got a word or two over on me, which is wonderful. I love to learn.
For those who hop reviews and seek your next read from another's opinion, know that this story is worth the read. I'm more a writer than a reader by FAR, and I may have approached this story with the skeptic thoughts of it possibly being some cliche.. BUT... I walked away from it satisfied, so far, and not disappointed at all. In fact, I anticipate more, which is... insanely rare of me.
If your into cycling through a man's inner workings and being guided pleasantly through a bit of confusion while totally confident you'll arrive at the end with understanding (it's the kind of suspense I lurveeee) Give it a chance. Give it a read. =)
