Oooh you're updating! I hadn't checked in a while and found 3 chapters, joy. Hope you keep it up, I wanna see how it goes for Merrick and Theo.

...In fact, there are so many impressive stories being updated on the site right now, yours included, that I felt this huge urge to update my own - one that hasn't been updated in months.

I came to realise at around the fourth page that everything about my writing seems so skeletal. There is description, but nothing substantial and none of it adds to the story in a way I would like it to. I'm feeling redundant when I start off paragraphs, or depict feelings for instance.

So, I'm going through your chapters and studying how you integrate description with dialogue and trying to follow example. :)

After reading this chapter I can't help but think Merrick is the cutest thing ever!! XD

Definitely my two favorite chapters from this story :D
But it seems like this, well, relationship will be the type that takes one step forward... and a quick sprint backward ^^' Still, it was nice to see the two of them behaving somewhat normally around each other, even if just for a while. Also, it was nice to see Theo getting angry, frustrated, vulnerable... for all the love that he is, when one is so perfect you want to see some human moments to make sure he belongs to the same species as you :P
On one hand I can't wait for Merrick to realize he doesn't have to clam up in front of Theo, because if someone in this world is open-minded, it's the boy. But I realize that Merrick's learned to be this way over the course of his whole life, so it's not easy for him to get rid of those habits, which really, are means of protection for him. So if he suddenly changes it would look a bit unnatural. And in the end, no matter how long the ride will take - I jump in, because it's enjoyable no matter what happens on the way :]

Two chapters in a day! I seriously love you, more so seeing the quality of both. So it seems that Merrick and Theo are opening to each other, yes, not only Merrick, but Theo as well. I don't like Charles, instead of educating Theo he is castrating the boy emotionally. Maybe it's not even Charles, but I dislike him, anyhow so I'll put the blame on him. Theo does have a bad case of Stepford Wife, I wish he'd let himself go and *feel*. It's touching to see him enjoying himself with Merrick, when he realizes that having siblings must be something like that. Poor guy. Against common belief, you can sleep when you have a concussion, you won't slip into a comma. Of course Merrick doesn't have to know this, does he? ;). Thank you for yet another good story.
