My fav part was definatly the eng. Theo is so cute that reminded me of a little kid who really wants a puppy and promises to take really good care of it and love it forever. wahhh so cute.
But scence theo is like all godloving wouldnt he have a bit of a harder time coming to terms with his sexuality?

Agh. I want to punch Merrick so badly. C'mon. He's being stupid (though most would anyway) by holding onto Brent when he clearly wasn't really important to Brent in the first place. I hope he realizes this soon. And I feel bad for Theo being dragged into a more confusing scenario. Please update soon and thank-you. :)

You are an amazing writer. I wish I could wax poetic about your style and the fact that you are attempting a 3rd person -- which you said wasn't your usual modius operandi -- is working out really well. I think I read and maybe dropped a review about "Blood Oranges" a while back. You seem to capture the teenage angst of coming to terms with sexuality and all the wonderful little mind fucks that come with the territory. The world weary ingenue that even though they are showing a barred front to the rest of the insular society are all confused and needy comes across as someone that could be a real character. I wish you well on your writing endeavors and hope you can update soon.

I totally second the whole shoving Theo up against something and fucking him plan.
we haven't really heard much from Theo's point of view on this. I wonder if he's going as nuts as Merrick is.
