Great fic, original and it makes me wish for the next chapter even before I finished the one I'm reading.

But, I actually thought that Abel was suspended in a moment before death (or something like that), and lived a life as Jacob's shadow in that one moment. To see if he was worthy of another life. (I had the whole fic figured out you know XD)
Sooo him just being, well, dropped in Jacob's lap surprised me.
...And now I want the next chapter even more!
