And there we lost Anders. Poor poor Caddy, what will he do. And how will they react to this new piece of information, I wonder.

Hi!
I don’t know where to start, really… I started reading ”Cadet Murphy” a few weeks or so back, knowing it was the wrong way around, but the story still managed to be really interesting, although I had no idea what was happening half the time…. *grin* I kinda put off reading the other stories because there were SO many chapters, and I didn’t feel I had the time, but, somehow, I just HAD to, so I started “November” a few days ago… Now I have read that and “August”, almost non stop (well… I had to go to work… I have to pay the rent somehow…) and I must say, that I actually feel guilty about being able to read this for FREE… I’m REALLY happy I can, though, because I don’t do pay-sites, but if this came out in book-form and was available in Sweden, I WOULD buy it…
You have created this fantastic and horrifying world, and you do it so cleverly: you never tell everything up front, you drop clue by clue so one has to puzzle the world together… an inexperienced writer would probably spend the whole first chapter explaining how everything worked in detail, and ruining it…
One detail is still not too clear to me, and that’s “Rowe house” (spelling?)… it’s like the monster in the really good horror-flick, which is scary, because you never actually SEE it, if you know what I mean… you have given clues, but, to me, they are still too sketchy, so when you mentioned it again in “August” I was happy, because maybe we are going to find out what that place really is, in the future? I was thinking it was a regular correction facility at first, and then, maybe, some forced pregnancy-centre, but then it was the part with “missing eyes and fingers” and I was all: whaaat?! *lol* It keeps me on my toes!
The way the carriers are treated by more “regular” males is the horrifying part… it’s a really feministic story, because slapping ones wife around is still, in some parts, more or less the common way to deal with arguments… it makes me want to throw up, and then came the part about the husbands classes in “August”, saying how the carriers NEEDED this (well… at least structure and a dominant husband), because they were going through this overwhelming change… and… somehow… it made sense… and that scared me even more! I mean, I would NEVER accept a partner striking me, EVER… and still, I can see how easy it would be to indoctrinate people into thinking its ok… yikes…
I would think, though, that after a few generations of carriers, it wouldn’t be such a shock, though… I mean, the kids would grow up knowing that, someday, some of them might be able to have kids… the thing is, it seems to be able to happen in rather different age-groups, and THAT must be shocking… it’s one thing if it always happen at puberty…
Anyway, as you probably can tell, I think your work is AMAZING and I can’t wait for more… I’m spoiled now, as I have been able to read non stop… suddenly there’s no more, and I feel strangely lost… *sigh* If you have an update-list, please add me: wynja_bane@hotmail.com.... Oh, and since I’m Swedish, if you need something translated or need to know some details about Sweden (in THIS world) you are more than welcome to ask! I read the Swedish conversation in one of the latest chapters and although it was spelled the way the words SOUNDS rather than the real spelling, it was absolutely understandable and correct…
I think that I might re-read “Cadet Murphy” now, as I will understand more about it… and I do LOVE Tiger, so… ;o)
All the best, and please continue this amazing work!
