Hmm, last night i was wondering about this story. And i came to believe that in this world there probably is, or should be, some kind of carrier resistance. You know, you can abuse and control people only so far and then they will start resisting. So I thought that perhaps there is an underground group of carriers and people who agree with their ideals. They would try to find the carriers before the goverment does and give them a better life where they can make decisions for their own lives. Does that sound good? Feel free to snatch the idea if you feel like it.

But then again, the goverment probably would be hunting down the runaway carriers and trying to find their secret base... hehe.

I'd really like to know, how comes that some of the carriers changes so late in life and others so early. I've been also wondering, whether ther's really no way of finding out in the run-up which boys are going to become carriers - I mean, it must be written down in their genes somehow. If they'd run some tests on every child, it wouldn't come as such an surprise for them and their surrounding... I know, it's probably not a great perspective to get turned into a breedingmachine/sexslave eventually, but at least they'd know what's coming to them:)

How old is Dr.Long? maybe he can ask for Phideas...

Please castrate Wick? Poor Adrian after he stuck his neck out like that he got burned bad!

That... sucks... really badly. You make me want to cry so bad Kabi, it's always so hard for your characters. Poor Phidias, and poor Adrian too. Now he's all messed up just because he tried to do the right thing. It's really sad... T.T

Anyway, lovely story, touchingly told as always. It so rare to find a story that truly touches my heart like this one does. I always look forward to updates. I'm always looking for that far off happy ending. Maybe Phidias and Alan will get together... they seem to like each other well enough... One can hope, right?

I agree castrate Wick- the military mind of this world just irritates me- making all the carriers scared- and raped. I hope Adrian can get to Steven quickly

i don't know if i can read this at times. it makes my heart hurt. the unnecessary violence, the total abuse of innocence. does love not hold sway for those who live here. can there no longer be that thing inside them that cries out in both terror and guilt and rage at what they have become. does this world only produce depravity and apathy. who shall make up for this pain now. who shall settle that in us readers that clenches and moans at the shared hurt. down what strangled hell do you lead us down. and shall we even have the strength to hope for retribution.

Hooray!! Sadly short but very captivating chapters - didn't see that coming at all! What now?? I wonder how old Phidias is exactly, and what will it be like, father and son both carriers... the horror of not being able to protect your child really comes through. Looking forward to the continuation!

Wow two in one family. I guess he will be able to be with his son now after all and know what he is dealing with. Very moving chapters. Will he be able to be at the same center as his son?
