i do not understand why the carriers have no power at all. It is sick. I also don't see why it is okay to just rape them at will. I would think that since carriers are such a limited commodity that who has access to them and the laws governing that would be equally sever for perpetrators. like the generals and commanders get "first pick" on down the line. this notion that if you can catch one alone and impregnate him he is your's even if you are a hick in the stix. That is just odd to me.

But I like phid's fire and I hope he gets a companion that is an awesome character and not your run of the mill bastard like a lot of the officers in this world. I also hope Caddie get's some of his dad's fire or he is just gonna be lost like Ortega in November.

Man, you really know how to break hearts. Adrian and Steven, to begin with. Couldn't they have found someone else or some other way to secretly impregnate Adrian, and stayed together..?? *wails* And did Adrain ask for Wick to punish himself? He knew the man was scum, why would he want to be given to him?

Somethin's gotta give! How in the hell is this new order society going to survive emtionally and mentally if the carriers are gonna be treated little better then brood mares?

Its quite clear that when the world almost destroyed itself it didn't learn to treat each other with kindness and respect. When it was dicovered that women had somehow become infertile and few and far between and that males instead were the ones who would be keeping the human race alive, the men instead of treating carriers like the precious gifts that they are are once again becoming the neandertals that men truly are.

Please, please write into your story the men getting what is coming to them-and I don't mean in a good way.

Why must you keep giving my stomach and heart troubles? Tell me Adrian doesn't belong to that man now! For some reason I think Phidias can take care of himself, a very stupid notion.

Oh wow, that was a scary chapter. I caught up on the story and was really surprised and interested in that Phidias is an older man and already a dad too. He's pretty mature and probably has a better sense of self since he's older, so I really wonder how he's going to work with everything. Thanks for the update!

Wish these a**hole men whould get their just desserts. If carriers are the furture of the world, why are they treated with such disrespect? Carriers need to to be cherished and protected-not used and abused. Enough said. I hope that things get better, not worse for the carriers.
