I thought the list of Henrick's was very reasonable. Phidias and Caddy deserve happiness in their world of forced rules and uncertainty.

It would be nice to learn more about that Revivalist religion.

I suppose Henrik went well. How well will a relationship b/w Anders and and child not quite 15 be seen as? It doesn't seem like it still happens too often. But maybe it is just a little infatuation on the part of a child who has never seen real kindness from men.
Sher will explode.

I am slightly worried about the "I am ..." statements in Henrik's list, but I suppose some of that is what happens in real day marriages, except we don't see that written in paper.
I love the part for Sher. He is contemplating the meaning of his life and the crabcakes give it such finality that that is all he will ever be.

I love the Phidias/Henrik + Caddy/Anders thread, soo much possibilities! It's hilarious, that Phidias doasen't recognise Caddys behavior for what it is - he still considers him a little child... Ther's just one question I have: Phidias fit's into the clothes of a 14-year-old? o_o

So I have a confession to make- I am starting to like August more than November lol I'm not sure why!! maybe it's because you've thrown us into this world and I just can't get enough of it and now I'm even more obsessed!! Can't wait to read more :)

Yes, just what kind of bed and breakfast is it, anyway? I guess Sher was in one of those situations where it was okay to have sex with a carrier without consent... T.T And I actually kind of liked Soyinka, even after the kiss (I'm starting to desensitize to the brutality of the males in this story), but not so much anymore.

I think I like Henrik. He's pretty nice, but very business-oriented. I guess in your world, that's not too bad. At least he respects Phidias... and doesn't want Phidias to get rid of Caddy. Maybe he'll warm up a bit more in the end...? (Yes, I am still holding out for the happy ending. What can I say? it's my personality.)

Ashby coloring his nails with markers made me laugh a bit. I used to do that all the time in elementary school because I was bored. I even remember how being the smartest girl in my class most definetely wasn't a compliment, so I can understand how Caddy feels about Ashby's comments. Caddy's at that age where he really wants to fit in, and being good at math isn't how you fit in at carrier school.

Another heartbreaking chapter, Kabi; I applaud you. *Hugs Sheridan* I hope it turns out all right in the end... :(

I'm going to join L.S. in saying that November/August should be published. Plus, I'll raise my hand and say that I, too, as a feminist see a lot of feminist themes in this story. You said yourself it's a social commentary, so I'm gonna read it like it is one.

I could actually see November one day being required reading for an English class, just like Brave New World and 1984. Of course, I could also see it being on the banned books list, too. :D

Hi there. I'm the one who asked the questions about what the physical changes a boy goes through to become a carrier, how sex was performed and how the baby was born. One of the questions I forgot to ask was when a carrier becomes pregnant and gives birth is he capable of nursing or has to rely on the ole formula and bottle?

I had the hardest time reading this past chapter- it's just so terrifying! But kick ass writing... Please publish this :)
