Oh man, that was sooo awkward!! haha poor Phidias :) I hope Henrik allows him to re-write the dissertation!! but for some reason i think there is some more douche-baggery come from Henrik lol...just saying. I'm pretty sure Phidias is going to regret the man's promise never to leave him ^^;

Wow, an almost 'nice' chapter. Angst, yeah, but no real horror. And Henrik seems so very nice, so good, but I just... I can't believe there won't be another shoe dropping once they're married...

So this *lesbian* vibes between James and Sheridan hadn't just been my imagination! And I seriously hoped for them to be soething I imagined, because this kind of feelings shurely will mean a whole lot of truble for the guys in the future...
It's nice to see that Hanrik actually seems to care for Caddys well-beeing instead of becoming conductive in a quick bond between him and his son (though to Caddy - and maybe Phidias - his behavoir probably just seems harsh and mean). It's also interesting how obedient Aders acts towards his father...
I'm a little confused about the Adrian-thread, about the motivation of the individual figures and about what is going on exactly... But it's absolutely possible that in this case thr problem lies with the reader rather than with the writing;)

Whoopee!! Waiting for a new chaper is SIMPLY agonizing!
Glad "Sher" finally told James off. What he did was really underhanded. My curiosity was piqued when James commented that Sher would have been killed. Did that mean Sher would have ended up in this Rowe House or out and out killed? I guess only you, the author, knows.
About Henrik. He is beginning to sound a little bit like a control freak. Phidias and Caddy sorta picked that up. I know that Henrik explained the "rules" and all but that way he said them-Henrik is getting a little scary.
Hope the next chapter won't take so long. I check AFF every day for updates but your story is the one I look for. As I stated earlier, I really, really get antsy waiting for updates on all my favorite stories. I even have them written down with the chapters. Cross off the previous chapter and write down the current one. Thats how eager I am about stories here on AFF.

Poor Phid. It takes time to become accustomed to your new biological sexuality, but changing mentally like James i wouldn't think would be pleasant or easy to do. And if the counselor thinks that of course the carrier should have say over their body, why do they still allow pregnancies through rape? I doubt they do much of anything in a case like that. They're jacked up.
Caddy apparently really likes Anders :3 it's cute in that young love kinda way, but that doesn't work well in a world like this.
It sucks that Sheri's last day at the CEC sucked and that everyone he was friends with was also gone and/or missing. That's reassuring... >.>;
I think Sher almost wouldn't mind having died than live a bane of an existence like this. I kept waiting for him to just pick up a knife and serious contemplate killing himself, if not just outright doing it. :o
So... with Adrian, i'm guessing the doctor is essentially making him re-virgin-a-fied, huh? Since he's had sex and stuff before, they want his new husband to 'feel' like he's the one that 'claimed' him or that doing it will make the community think that the slate has been whipped clean with a bit of greasy residue, and that Adrian was officially de-flowered by Sean when he's checked by another doctor or someone of the council or something? And how is Adrian wasting blood? o.o; i mean if you bleed you bleed during sex, what, were they suppose to stop and collect it in a bowl or something to refrigerate and give to the government later? >.> geez.

I honestly felt like crying when Sheridan was so excited about coming back to CEC, and then noone was there and he went to sit in his room. For some reason that was absolutely heartbreaking.
And Henrik is really starting to show his true colours, but Phid and Caddy are still too dumb to really see it...

Henrik isn't as nice as he makes himself out to be, crazy yes he is. I would still be pissed if I was sheridian, I would say forget james.
