I'm still very curious to find out Tobias' background, too.
And a congratz on the concussion/alcohol catch - that actually happened to me once. got a minor concussion the day before a major holiday, we didn't really think it was a concussion, and I had a few glasses of wine. I got instantly drunker than I'd been in my life, and suffered from horrific nausea and dizziness for the next 7 days. Definitely glad Matt avoided that.
Oh, but for accuracy's sake, since it seems that you were making a real effort on that front, I've been told that taking pain killers for the first 24 hours after a concussion is usually a no-no. Ibuprofen is really not good, because it's a blood thinner and combining that with a possible bruise in the brain is a bad idea, obviously. The pain killers in general are not considered good for that initial period because if there is any increase in pain, that can be a sign that the bleeding hasn't stopped and there is pressure building up under the skull. So doctors recommend not taking anything that may mask an increase in pain (like you think the pain killer is just wearing off, but it's really your pain level increasing, and so on.). I haven't found much about the pain killers on the web, but my daughter's had about 8 concussions, and all her doctors would tell me the same thing about the pain killers: no ibuprofen for a few days, no pain killers at all for at least a day.
so that's that, for whatever interest it may be. I look forward to the end of the story. :-)

I also really like this story! Their relationship is so cute :D and I like the drama twist with Matt's ex, it just gives Tobias opportunity to sweep him off his feet, or at least continue to do so :D
