Good chapter. What happened to chapters 8-11 though? The last one was labled 7 and this one was labeled 12.

This was far, far too short!!! =)
I guess I shouldn't complain (at least not too much anyway) seeing as I do the same thing fairly often.
These two need to run off together for some alone time and explore not only each other, but their very different cultures. They know so little about each other that its a recipe for trouble.
I like this series and I'm curious to see where it's headed. Hope you update soon!

I was quite surprised by where this chapter went. I have to say that, unfortunately, your characters are realistic. I say unfortunately because they are just so oblivious to one another in that they don't seem to realize the different culture the other comes from and they don't seem to be able to put themselves in each other shoes to see how the other might be feeling. Sad to say, but that's how most people are.
I like how you make it out like its some hardship for Jarred to have to fuck her. Like he's some saint =). It's like he's saying "Oh God I can't like her die I guess I'll just have to suck it up and take one for the team by fucking her".
I also like how he just sprung another woman on her...I think he had that planned all along. Sneaky bastard. lol.

I guess Jarred is getting what he wanted huh? In one of your chapters he said he didn't think he could ever love someone so timid...well she's certinaly been pushed too far and is getting bold now isn't she?
I'm sad that it was short, but I guess I can't complain considering my last chapter was equally as short.
I'm interested in your new character (Gordon); I'm not at all certain what to make of him yet. It's too soon to tell, but I have the feeling he's a bad guy although he seemed nice enough. I can't wait to see more....
