OOh, can't wait to see what happens when he goes home :) I think you should go with Nik - it does make more sense. But then again, nicknames are up to the person, so maybe Nikolaii would rather be Nick than Nik - maybe to spite his family? Since he seems to get along so well with them ;) But I would go with whichever you like better - we'll know who you mean either way :) Maybe we can beat the 2 1/2 month record...? :-D

I gather Nikolai's family is now looking for him... maybe something to do with inheritance or being an heir or something... anyway, the name Nikolai - is he Russian? *imagines a Russian Blue cat though Nikolai is black*

Wow! I'm so glad to see this updated! I read this such a long time ago, I had to go back and reread everything! Now I remember....so, who is the guy who hired the P.I.? Why is he looking for Nick? I hope he doesn't cause trouble between Nick and Reese!
