I like it. You've got an incredibly descriptive style, much like Dickens. (At least that's what it reminded me of.) I love how bright and real the characters are to me as I'm reading. Obviously, by my stories on my profile, I'm not a furry, but I was very drawn into this if not for the characters alone. The plot is confusing at first, but I'm sure that will be solved with later chapters.

My only suggestion would be to watch your formatting. On AFF, if you put spaces between your paragraphs (like I've done in this review) I think you'll get better results with your readers and reviews. The way the human mind is set up, it's hard to comprehend a wall of text. Text with breaks makes it easier to read.

Otherwise, gorgeous job. I'm definitely going to be watching this story.
