Readers at AFF are proving amazingly willing to go without a voice. As I am trading income for feedback here, that may cause me to cease posting my work. This is a pre-release ms and offering it for free takes money out of pocket. I guess I keep hoping readers will have some interest and say so. That's the payoff I'm looking for here.

Interesting chapter. I was kind of hoping to have some Brom in this chapter as well, but I can always wait for the next one to come. Malec, I wonder if he will wait for her, it be nice of him and it will give him some positive light. Not just him wanting Avery to satisfy his pleasure but because he cares more than he should.

Checked about the chere and cher. Because, that crap bothers me, too. From what I see the gender is in the address. Mon = male ma = female. The cher and chere is more like sweet and sweetie. Not exactly, mind you. But, cher being more serious. If you find another reference, please post it here for me. Much appreciation.

I second that. It's "ma chère" (my dear) since Malec and Etienne are both addressing a woman (Etienne adressing Walks Softly would be "mon cher"). Down scaled would be chéri(m) / chérie(f) (more coll. like "babe" in US-english)
Oh, before I forget... both of your stories need a special warning... something like "don't read while hungry or on diet"! I swear you made me raid the fridge a couple of times already. They are just *yummy*
