With Malec, I had to establish in the reader's mind he lives by no law. Not man's, or any god's. He is his sovereign. You have to understand the bad someone is capable of to know when they redeem themselves. Also, he could have forced her reaction to him, and he didn't. That shows the first bit of light.

Hang in there, stay with me. I think you'll be surprised.

This just keeps getting hotter and hotter. First I side with Brom and then I side with Malec. You do a balancing act so very well, prompting a switcheroo with your audience. I can't wait to see what else you do.

He's such a mystery when it comes to her, for the most part he's going against his personality and natural instincts for her.
also who and when on the subject of her virginity, cause you have me completely stumped on which one she's gonna pick.

Yeah, I had a trip down memory lane writing that scene. Been there, done that. (Minus the vamp factor, of course.) Barely prevented a serious smash up. But, hey, using my experiences now to spin a yarn.

I think I've finally made up my mind-I want Avery to have a
daliance with Malec,but I think ultimately she's more suited
for Brom.
But I'm sure I'll change my mind again next chapter.LOL
(Doesn't mean that I don't want an intensely passionate love scene between Avery and Malec,though,'cause that would be
incredible.)
I seriously thought that Malec and Brom were going to come to blows!
Glad to see that they formed a sort of semi-truce;don't how long it will

When Avery was worried about him being dangerous
and then him syaing "not to you" that bit just made
me go all fuzzy inside...bless him, he can be good...kinda!
