Just read the whole thing today, I couldn't get away from the story. Very interesting and well written, this has to be one of the best stories I've read on this site (certainly one of the top ranking supernatural fiction). I don't know about this other "writer" that is bashing your story, sounds like a jealous party. I mean, she has nothing better to do with her time than have a story that continues to disparrage your work? What the hell? She needs to get a life and realize that this is an open site and also a free country. If she doesn't like it, guess what? DON'T READ IT!!!!
As it pertains to your work, I really enjoy it. Your story reminds me much of Laurell K. Hamilton's "Anita Blake" series, without the pretentiousness of Anita pretending that she's not a whore by having five- and sixsomes with strangers. I like that fact that you've drawn out the climax of this story and kept the love triangle going. You've kept the continuity very well defined and it does benefit readers to have the chapters condensed into fewer pages. The sex scenes are hot (I mean, this is in the "erotica" category) but your plot is motivational as well. No complaints about anything except for one small detail...what's happening with Byron? I admit, I would like to see a side story about his character, how he obtains a mate and what happens between him and Myron since we know Byron did not kill Gabriel. Thats all for now and I look forward to updates. Good luck and remember that there are many people on this site that support your creative talent and are interested in your fiction.
