I just read this story from beginning to end (well...as far is it goes at least :) ) and I love it. I love the character of River and Andreji, and I adore the tension between them. There's sex, yes, but as much as River wants some form of emotion from his Master, Andreji doesn't seem willing to give it. I thought that it was a wonderful plot twist. So often you see stories where the master falls in love (very quickly) with the fledgling, but you've cut that out, and made for quite the plot. Perhaps Andreji is simply hiding his true emotions? Doesn't matter, because we only know what you tell us, and I love the suspense.
Anywho...to Munich, hmm? I am intrigued to see what lies ahead for this little duo, and their strange adventure (hehehehe...I would call sex in a train compartment "strange".)

Poor River, with all his pining, didn't seem to do anything specific in Vienna that would require him to be in Vienna - thought he might try some opera or sights. Andreji is becoming more intriguing with each installment! Thanks!

I have just spent an enjoyable Sunday morning reading your story. I think I might, no, I tried to read it a while back and I think I was in the wrong frame of mind to truly appreciate it. Originally, I only got through the first couple of paragraphs. I am utterly glad that I came back to it. The Hunt is intriguing. I can only assume that his Mother and her family (uncle being available for help) are landed immigrants. I find it fascinating that silver poisoning leads to whitewashing a vampire. You have an older vampire with mysterious origins clinging (or seems to be) the now idealized love of a past master playing off a exotic young man who just may be able to walk the cold and not so lonely path of immortality. Give me more, & I will read it!!!

You still write as intrigueing and realistic as ever. I like both Andreji and River. They're amusing and very sexy togerher. Of course there's the fact that Andreji is a mystery. I can't wait to find out more about them and what's going to happen. What'll Andreji decide?

Thanks so much for sharing the story! I read all 16 chapters at one go - and I love how you've built the story and the interactions between the two so far! I think it would be great if you have a bit more plot - and it looks like you might be driving towards that. I'd love to see River rescued by Andreji at some point, I think it would be exciting watching Andreji in action that way. Looking forward to more. :D

The plot is going to unfold soon. As to Andreji rescuing River - yes, that could be beneficial for a certain part of the storyline that I have not yet decided upon. However, Andreji has already saved River in the first chapter... ;) Though of course their relation was different then.

Ah! You tease! *grin* You dont get to see a lot of "not tonight baby" in fanfictions. I'll admit it was a bit refreshing to see.
