It's funny, I don't know where you're going with the relationships in this story. I still really like Frost/Sleet. I hope there's a way to save Frost. it seems quite obvious to me that the two of them are in love, even with the obsessive/possessive overtones (which are delicious rather than unnerving to me when there seems to be true caring). A quest to save and a story of redemption where love conquers all appeals to me. But I suspect this is ultimately going to end up Raven/Sleet, so I'm trying to keep my slashy heart uncommitted. LOL

Bravo!

I know people are probably complaining that Sleet won't accept his god, but in my opinion, he's the only sane one of the bunch. Look what happened to frost in accepting his animus. There is no way of knowing how much control you;d be ceding to the god, or if you can get out of it, or if you're just going to be a puppet for the rest of your life. Then, too, there is no objective information on who's right and who;s wrong; can Frost be saved and disconnected from his animus; what are the ultimate objectives of one side versus the other? Although Sleet's objection's seem tedious, he's the only one who seems to have some healthy skepticism. It's so easy as the reader to say, "Okay, we know we're following the good guys and those over there are the bag guys! And ObViOUSLY, he should do whatever the god in his head says to do!" LOL

BTW, I'm not yet feeling Raven. He is a bully, and I dislike his manhandling of Sleet, which seems to be a product of the fact that Sleet is smaller than him (or at least that's how it reads). I doubt he's be so high handed and free with the grabbing is Sleet was the size of a linebacker. It reminds me of the way some men use their physicality to intimidate women, and I dislike that very much.

Bravo!

You know, the more we get of Frost/Sleet's relationship from other people, the more it seems as if Sleet's perspective of the depth of their relationship was skewed by his own stubborn nature. It's like that part where Sleet keeps referring to their assignations as "occasional" but letter it's revealed that they were fucking weekly, or daily. LOL Sounds occasional only in Sleet's mind. LOL

I actually really like the way you have Sleet on the fence. The only thing I would like is that he acknowledge that he obviously has some control over Frost, and to use that control, perhaps to try to reach him, or to at least ask him some questions. I think if Sleet gave in to Erebus too easily, the story might lack tension.

I'm really still enamored of Frost/Sleet. I love that their relationship is currently broken, but has all of this history that we only know from Sleet's perspective and Frost's obvious actions. I keep hoping, hoping for a way that their relationship can be saved. It's such a crux of the story that if it were ever to fall to the irreparable side, I suspect the story would lose a lot of its impetus. And that Balaam is Erebrus' father...lol.

Please add me to your alert list (tmelange at gmail), and write more soon, please.

Rain, stupid rain! I hate rain *shiver* I just went on the bike for a hour with the wind AGAINST me and as if that wasn’t enough RAINING too!
So your story is pretty much the light in my dark, gloomy day

Huh? At one point Ashur is Adair? And…I think you made a mistake at this part:

Adair shrugged, his gaze shifted past Sleet to something of better interest beyond him. “Tells me what's in my best interest. Thinks he knows everything,” the boy muttered, sounding annoyed, but also a bit fond. It was clear that the brothers were close, perhaps more so than Adair wanted.

And then two lines later:

Ashur shook his head, misery darkening his eyes. “He's been taking care of me since our parents died. It's stifling.”

It’s Ashur, right?

FROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTT, dammit! How can you let Balaam touch your sweetheart!!!!XD NUUUUUUU
It was kinda hott, kinda? What Am I saying! It was fucking hotXD
It’s so cute that Sleet does recognize Frosts touch, I love it :3 it’s really cute
And Frost being possessive! and even stopping Balaam! God I love you Frost!
Please Queen never kill Frost nor Sleet I love theeem sooo muchXD
And after reading all your other stories, I don't know what to expect! I mean all the stories are like so cliche, but yours..! I can't even predict what will happen next! and it's frustrating in away but it's challenging at the same time! And I love it that there is finally a story that isn't predictable as all the others!
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! This story still is my number one favorite and always will be!
thaank youuuu so much!!!

Yup, the cliffies are what keep us comin', alright. XP But daaaamn, I can't resist! XD

Great, now Balaam's interested in Sleet, too? Good thing Frost doesn't want him touching Sleet's ass. XP And since I read Shattered Dreams, I think I know whose eyes Balaam was comparing Sleet's to. But Baal... *sniffle*

See you next time, Draco-san. Most definitely. *hug*

Woot! I love the turn of events. What is Beryl's relationship to Frost? And how will the next chapter play out. It was real tempting to see what Beryl will do and I wonder if Beryl will make it through the destruction that's about to bite Nename's heel. I really love Beryl's vibrant personality! Can't wait for Frost's side of the story when you're done with the contest. -sits in anticipation-

I think I read your oneshot, but I can't remember if I reviewed or not. X3 But I liked it. =3

Yay, Tungsten POV. *giggle* X3 He's such a clutz it's easy to forget that he's got a brain up there. But Sleet and Beryl... Just what was blondie implying? And as if Sleet would replace Frost. He hasn't had the time, what with all the running and fighting for his life. X3

More updates sounds good. ^w^ And get this; the spam blocker actually has "klutzier" and "undercover." X3 lol See you later, Draco-san. *hug*
