Great chapter! I love Shona, her relationship with Niles - hows she's partly right and partly not...
Rylans "Not normal"-speech is my favourite part, he's so honest and cute and funny at the same time.
And I think I like the angsty parts of the story, Niles being confused and scared... But I also love those flashes of sarcasm Niles sometimes gets. He's a good match for Rylan, more than he thinks. Rylan's a bit of an enigma, I adore him, but I still don't know how he ticks.

Noticed a little error here: "So, Captain," Niles is saying..."

I don't like one lover hurting the other for their pleasure alone. However, since it was a kink for the recipient, I could read this.

I felt very sorry for Niles. That boy could worry himself to death. Curious to see how you wrap this up.

ah! I was really scared that Rylan would say something like "we need some time apart" in the beginning of this chapter :) I'm really relieved that he didn't :D

Well (as a plot bunny) there could be a furthering in Rylan and Niles's relationship.
Perhaps a fight and they make up or like
a sudden realization of the level of their relationship.

And you've already put something that has to do with Niles's family into the plot, perhaps something can happen with Rylan father or mother?

Or maybe Rylan can have some competition? Maybe Niles meets someone new or someone he already knows confesses his undying love for Niles or something.

OR they can go on a date and maybe Niles can freak out and feel foolish for being like a girl and well
i think something like that'd be really cute since they never really went on dates since Niles wasnt sure if they were in a relationship or not.
