Wow, good start. I like the first 2 chapters.
I really feel bad for the guy. Like all black mail cases he should just came clean with his friend. Even if it means losing the friendship. Then again, what kind of story would that make?
Also, I think your writing is good and your description of Emily was nothing out of the ordinary. Actually, it was quite tame.
Really interested in chapter 3, so update soon.
