Chapter 19, very well done... but Chapter 20... DAMN. just.... DAMN.

....... Well, what can I say? It was very well done, portraying the mixed, and often misunderstood feelings, of Shuey. It was quite the experience to see her like kissing Jerrik, and is one step closer to that fateful moment they give themselves up to each other...

FINALLY!! I have been waiting for this chapter and their kissing for what seems forever!! Also I blame you for getting me into Addicted to Curry, you mentioned it and I read and liked it.

*bounces back onto review board and shoves everybody aside so she can slap Curio* KISSED HER! JERRICK KISSED HER! STUUUUUUUPID!

But awesome.

And her father...*shakes head* I knew he was up to something. I had a feeling he'd recognize her; can't say why though.

And I'm not so sure I wanna trust this military demon. If her father wants to kill her when she's strong enough to fight him, part of me just feels like she will be taught just enough to be below him. Strong, but not strong enough. I don't trust Brethmal.

Sorry if I screw up the spelling of names; I think I may have mentioned that the screen reader I use doesn't really pronounce everything the way they're supposed to be pronounced, so I spell what I hear if that makes any sense.

I've gotta say, Shuey...ehh...no...hmmm...*thinks of how to put it*

I like the way she's internally fighting herself. She's railing against feelings she doesn't get yet that seem to get her quite well. I like the quick flash between "It's fine" and "get the fuck outa my room before I flay you" thing.

Thank you. I usually try to be ebullient as much as possible. The last chapter was amazing! I'm convinced that your spoiling me and the other readers, not that I'm complaining. But I especially liked that you included both events (containing Jerrick and Brethmel's relationship with Shuey) that I've been anxiously waiting for. A treat indeed. :D And now I can only imagine what happens with Cerelia. I have such mixed feelings about her; I don't know whether I like her or not. And since I cannot think of anything else but praise for this story, I must include how much I appreciate your promptness.
I just know that I'll probably go crazy over the next week while I am out of town, knowing that I may possibly be missing an update.

And I must agree, I do kind of sound like a female version or your friend, Jayson. Although I am not sure if I smile while I am angry, I'll have to get back to you on that one. ;)

Geez, the way this story takes it's twists and turns we're going to need a roadmap to keep up. *starts drawing one*

It's good to see the deeper sides of things, as well as Shuey and her father taking on another confrontation. I have some suspicions as to why Zeke wants her to grow stronger first, but I'll keep them to myself. As for the Jerrik/Shuey relationship, it looks like another stepping stone has been placed to get to the enevitable. The fact that Shuey hasn't hit Jerrik with Dare within the first 5 minutes of them being together says something. Leon, unfortunately, doesn't get that special treatment.

The mystery book is revealed as well, which is a plus. It might play some important detail later... or not. Who knows.

Oh my gosh! I was pleasantly surprised to come home and get to read TWO chapters! Thank you thank you thank you. And to add to your ego even more, I admit I am always the most eager to read this story, than any other. Hopefully that inspires you to update with another chapter, before the withdrawals set in.

Well, I am really, really enjoying this story. And I am enjoying your author's notes almost as much. It's kinda encouraging to see someone else gets excited over reviews and has no idea where their story will end up when they begin to write it. It's almost like an Author's Anonymous support group...but more entertaining and a good tale to go with it. I've only read the first three chapters so far, but I'm happy as a wee piggy to see that there is another ten or so chapters to go and more on the way. It looks like I'll be entertained for some time to come. But back to your story, I love the original spin you throw on the whole demon/angel thing, it's not even slightly reminiscent of anything buffyesque, and Shuey...my gawd...she is the coolest original character I have read about in a long, long time. I'm hanging to continue reading but it's way past my bed time. Anywho, thanks for such an entertaining read and author's notes!

Damn it! And here I was half expecting her to castrate him. It would be completely within her character to do so.

You chapters be doing well, and it's seems that Leon has now entered 'Big Brother' mode with Shuey. Making sure she gets plenty of nutruitents, even at the risk of another strike by Dare. It's nice to see he cares in his own special way. Seems like only yesterday he was pushing her off of rooftop buildings...

Jerrik looks like he's willing to do whatever it takes to make Shuey understand his feelings for her. A small break from tradition for Shuey to use her fists, but I'm sure that shocked Jerrik more then the kiss did Shuey. Or maybe not... but at the risk of harming my computer, I won't calculate this one.

I literally just read all of the past 15 chapters. At first I was most interested in Shuey ad Jerrick's relationship. However, now I cannot wait to read Brethmel's reaction when he learns that he has a daughter.
