LOL Love that Reaper hates his sister-in-law. Don't blame him she's a sanctimonius witch. This story is wonderful.

great story... what a surprise it's hetro... vampire hetro, but still hetro! Normally I swing toward yaoi/m/m, but I do have a thing for vamps as long as they don't twinkle stupidly in the sunlight and aren't complete goody-two shoes...how utterly boring I like my vamps with a little bloody bite to them U-see. The Vampire's/Dracula originator Brim Stoker would flip, in his grave at what that "romantic twilight shit" has done to vamps in this modern age! Can't wait for more, G

First, I am so happy to see you continuing this wonderful story! This was one story I truly wanted to see completed. It is very rare to find a male/female vampire romance. I love it. I can't wait to see how Reaper saves Shay and Jonathon.

This is pretty incredible, I've only read the first chapter as of yet but it's got me hooked. If I may make a suggestion though: As someone not familiar with your writing style it was a little hard for me to keep the characters straight, particularly when they mixed with other people and in scene changes. If you could throw the main characters' names on occasion would really help. Also, I would second a comment made by another reader of adding in more detail. Sometimes things just pop up in the story and it's like, "Oh, where did I miss that?" The cave is a great place for characterization of the vampire. What kind of things does he have lying around? Does he keep it clean or let leaves and dust pile up? Is the entrance obscured by vegetation or is it fairly obvious? All these little things work subconsciously on the reader so we get a bigger, fuller picture of who this character is. This is just me, but I'm also really curious as to where this cave is compared to the city. She walks to and from it going to work but I can't picture how that's possible. Probably because I live in Indiana and a large hill is an incredible sight, so caves are an exotic thing to me that occur in far off mountains.

The bar wench comment made me laugh, harder because I still had scenes from Coyote Ugly flashing through my head from her comments.
