Avernion: I'm glad to hear that. :)
lividfire: "ayve is submissive?wow, didn't see that coming.
also pheus leaving ayve cause his father is...well what a coward.
i can't believe him."
Well, they are kids in the beginning of this. Or young adults more likely. When you've grown up under constant suppression, it's not easy to grow wings. I did it at sixteen, but I had somewhere to go - for Pheus, denying his father means a future without perspective. A future without anyone to turn to, except for one person that has no perspective either. You have to be either very strong or very naive to dare do that... Pheus is definitely not a coward.(!) He is merely still very young and has yet to find his way. After all, as you (partly) know, he will not choose an easy way when he finally makes up his mind.
Of course I'm delighted that Pheus inspires such strong feelings in you ;).
I'd love to hear/read from you again.
Love, Ele.

am so glad you're writting this now.
sorry it took me so long to review.
i've read the first ch.long time ago of abyss and said i'll comment later.
well better now then never...
so what to say?
ayve is submissive?wow, didn't see that coming.
also pheus leaving ayve cause his father is...well what a coward.
i can't belive him.
isn't he supposed to be cool and standoffish kins of a guy.
what now, who's gonna inherit who?
write so i can find out.

Thank you. Darker? -Yes! Faster? -Wasn't aware of that... yes, I guess so. But not when it comes to updates, unfortunately. I hardly manage to update The Hunt at the moment, but Abyss will have to wait for at least another month... I have to write too much for the university, you see?
I'm really sorry and hope you have the patience to still give the update a chance when it comes out, eventually...

Aaaannnndddd.... I'm back! Did you miss me?? Of course you did! You loved my constant complain about Pheus' cold, apathetic demeanor & how our lovely Ayve deserved someone so much better. Like Stephen. ;) So sorry for the long absence. Had some pretty significant RL developments that have been quite lovely. And will continue to be so for the next 9 months or so. And then all semblance of an actual life that I seem to have shall completely vanish. So this is me telling you that I demand this story be finished by December 31!! No, no, completely kidding. At your own pace, of course, my dear.
Anyways. Back to an actual review.
Fine. You got me. You've won. This is me waving the red flag and admitting defeat. Pheus has grown on me. Sure, I still have my instances to pull out to support the fact that I think he's a tool (like his stubbornness in not going back with Ayve or the way he was so whipped by dear old daddy)... but the man has some redeeming qualities and a sincere, caring side that has recently been exhibited. I do actually believe now that he's got genuine feelings for Ayve. And we're finally to point in the couple's "history" that I am familiar with, which is exciting.
Fabulous job as always. I can only assume that the following chapters will soften me up to Pheus even more with the way he cares for Ayve. So I can't wait to read them. And I can't wait to see what's happening in "current time" with the pair!

LOL I miss every review I don't get... and yours in particular. It's June, now. I started this (looks into her author panel) in February... -it might be that I have finished Abyss at the end of the year, yes. Though that's not even seven months from now, not nine ;).
I'll try my best to make you understand Pheus' ways in the following chapters and sew some things from the first volume together. *Looks forward to it* The presence part is already sketched out in its basics in my mind as well.
Best wishes for your RL. I've got a few things on my plate there, too - my studying time is drawing to a close, which equals more work than usual, including a long placement (which turns out to be quite pleasant and helpful for future career orientation).
Thanks, as always, for reviewing! *hugs*
