First of all, you have my condolences on the passing of your sister and even though you do not know me, if you need someone to talk to, you can talk to me.

Wow...such a lovely and tragic story.I literally stayed up all night reading this. It is so good and different than most stories I've come across and there's something calm, and soothing in the way you write.

I really hope that this is not the end. I've grown attached to Pheus and Ayve and I wonder what has happened to Pheus. As much as I'd like to hot Pheus, I feel deeply for him, and for Ayve, too. Forgive me if I mispell their names.

I will be sure to read and review your other stories, of course. Thanks for writing this and the rest.

How to review, how to review... I read both Nymphaea and Abyss (back to back, in that order) and came to the conclusion that Abyss was more of a prequel or spinoff story from Nymphaea than a sequel. It wouldn't have bothered me as much if Nymphaea hadn't ended in what felt like a MAJOR cliffhanger! Here I expected to find out how Ayve and Stephen would overcome the unexpected change of event (not gonna spoil, if anyone reads these reviews before reading Nymphaea) but instead got the history between Pheus and Ayve. After a couple of chapters I was pulled into their story too but at the back of my mind I wished for some conclusion for Nymphaea. The last chapter posted of Abyss made this story feel like a prequel but would have wanted to read a bit more of Ayve's past with humans (the rumors hinted at Nymphaea). All in all, I've loved all 4 stories you've posted on this site and wished that there'd be more original stories, but muses are fickle things. Nymphaea has the potential to be a series of books, in my opinion. It feels like a part is missing. But then again that's just my opinion, I guess. I hope you're still around on this site and get to read my review, since it seems it's been years since an original story has been updated. So, in short: Love your work, please continue writing if possible! ~ Otaku-chan

Hello Holly!

Thanks for your praise! As to how often I update - I can't really say. I've been rather slow lately, but I always hope to shorten update intervals. However, I cannot make any promises. I wish I could, I know what it's like when you're reading a good story in high speed and suddenly you have to wait for ages for every small update. It kind of ruines the experience...
Nymphaea. It is sort of a prequel, BUT... there are big plot flaws, so in the end I would call it an interesting but not quite successful experiment. Writing Abyss is also a way of correcting what went wrong in Nymphaea.

Thank you also to Rosei for both of your kind reviews!

Hello :)
wow I found your story about 4 days ago and I really got5 into it!
I really love your way of writing and the story itself is very different from anything I've ever read.
I can't wait for more but I wanted to ask you how fast will you update? See I'm not very good with waiting for new chapters but I really like this story and I will wait for however long it is necessary.
Anyways I saw your story 'Nymphaea' is it like a prequel to 'Abyss' or nothing to do with it?
I plan to read it soon so that's why I was wondering...
: ) well I look forward to your next chapter!

Chapters 1-17

Yup! After reading Embrace I found you updating this one and plunged right in.

Your story is beautifully written and the journey is a poignant one. Wow, I do wish more people got to
read this one. "Original - Misc > -Slash - Male/Male," get the most foot traffic on this site and that's
why I probably never saw the Abyss.

You've done a great job with Ayve and Pheus' characters. Your descriptions are seemless and trap a reader
quickly. So bittersweet and enjoyable, I love it!!

Thank you,
R

What a fabulous story! My congratulations on producing something so fresh and original. The couple of inadvertent word substitutions didn't detract from the excellence of the work.

As I didn't find this until you already had 15 chapters up, I am reviewing at the earliest opportunity. Yes, it IS frustrating when you get plenty of readers, but no reviews... Rather rude of them too, I feel. I have bookmarked this, and will eagerly await the next posting!

Thanks for a very interesting read.

Thank you for your support. :)
What exactly do you mean by 'inadvertent word substitutions'? I have an idea what you could mean, but perhaps you are referring to something totally different...? I would love it if you told me (always eager to learn/improve).

As for the next update, I'll try my best.

*Blushes* We haven't even had a date yet and you're already had over heels in love with me? -Then I really must be a good writer... ;)

Goofiness aside, thank you for telling me you like this. I'm madly in love with the story myself and it's good to see I'm not alone with that feeling. :)
