Aw, I feel really sorry for little Daire. Trust him to be lumbered with the short straw, namely Aleksei. Let's hope this other boy, Alden, can talk some sense into the cold hearted swine...
At least Daire has some good friends, in Caelyn and Aidan. They'll look out for him as best they can, I'm sure....

Anyways, I hope Aleksei will 'come around' soon 'cause Daire doesn't sound like the kind of person who can take alot of rejections! (especially from his own mate!) ><

oooh i like the fic... it's rather different from the ones i usually read... i do have a few questions though...

The sentences are a bit choppy, but the descriptions are very nice. Thirteen is a little young for this type of story, but the world is harsh, so it's fairly realistic. Overall, I like the first chapter. I look forward to the next.

I checked out some of your sites and I can't help but wonder if you will write more of this since many of your stories only have 1 chapter but hope I'm wrong
