I was glad Sam found Casey in that bar before Casey took off with that other guy. But jeez, what, is Sam so proud, he can't apologize to Casey? But you're right: at least in this chapter Sam wasn't such a prick! lol

Oh, what am I going to do with Sam and Casey? Sam is really breaking my heart. It hurts that Sam is able to have a mindless hookup like he did in an earlier chapter bu he still is unable to open his heart to Casey. However I realize that it is a survival reflex for Sam. I want Sam and Casey to finally tough each other's hearts. It sounds like Sarah is about to get into even more trouble. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Yes, always a pleasure reading about Sam and Casey's verbal "killing" of each other! lol
Idk if I trust Sarah; is she to be trusted? I know she feels bad about Sam and Casey's relatives, but whatever she's doing, is she putting THEM at risk? It seems that everyone is at risk for getting killed there!
Great chapter; I had to re-read a few past chapters to get caught up again! I love, love, love this story! I just wish Sam wasn't so damn hateful all of the time!!!

It too me a little time to get into this story (I'm a bit too used to using AFF for a fast fix of slash), but once I got my teeth in, this proved to be an excellent read. A satisfyingly messed up main pairing, well-paced UST, lots of "grrr!" and a non-flowery ending that leaves you guessing but not without hope for our battered heroes. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome so far! I've only gotten a couple chapters into it so I can't say much.
I love the way you do actions in normal everyday situation, like the hunching of the shoulders and the putting up of the collar. That's totally what drew me in the most - but I'm a nerd about those things. Love Casey so far, seems he has a bit of an attitude that we only get a peek at in chapter one.
Anyway, don't have time to get very wordy! Gotta run, ciao!
