MOARPLZ?!

By which I mean, I love this story and I need more. I stayed up most of the night reading it. Now I am so tired T__T

Contrary to what your author's page would have us believe, you aren't dead. I know this because I checked the date of your other stories and you've written stuff recently. >__> It's not really stalking. *Cough cough* Point is, could you please write some more for the desperate fans?
(I'm going to feel like such a cow if it turns out that you now are actually dead. Although on the plus side, you wouldn't know I said this.)

I love the depth you give the characters, and the way that Kajin still accepts Kreshjur for all his 'I kill people 'cos it makes sense'-ness. The plot is more complex than I had though it was going to be, it was a bit of a mindgasm. When I first saw the tiny scroll bar on the side of the page, I was like 'Hells no, I'm putting you off.' So I did. And now I wish I hadn't, because the whole 30 pages were totally worth it. Although I really was expecting this chapter to be the whole thing, I'm really glad it's not, because now there will be even more (yaaaaay!). That is, if you are feeling so inclined. Although if you do decide to leave it I will cry in pain because I'll never know what happens.

Please update!

That was the most vivid picture a writer has ever painted in my mind. Your knack for imagery is brilliant! You managed to describe people and things without being flowery and taking away from the flow of the story, something that I greatly admire in an author. :) The sexual tension was tangible, as were the emotions in the story. I teared up a bit toward the beginning at the part about Kajin's parents. It didn't seem like a dig for sympathy, but rather did a good job of tugging at the heart strings, while at the same time, building depth to the character. Speaking of depth, Kajin and Kreshjur are amazing. :) I also enjoyed how releasing Kajin's power had consequences. Not something ya see too often. Usually, the main character becomes an all-mighty god without any downfalls, and saves the world from the brink of destruction without batting an eyelash. (Or if there are any consequences, they aren't well thought out, and are thrown out the window, as if they were merely canon fodder. Ugh.) That kind of thing really brings down a story, so I am quite happy to come across this gem of yours. :D
You sir, are a genius, and I bow down to your awe-inspiring skills. :P

There are not many things I've read that can literally draw me in so thoroughly that utter mayhem could erupt behind me without me taking any notice. This was one of them. Dear sweet gods, your imagery is so vivid! The weaving of Greek and Egyptian theology and history is also marvelously done, and that touch of historical accuracy adds to the sense of realism that pervades this work.

But what really made this story so powerful for me was the emotional richness. Kreshjur and Kajin are both so very well drawn, so utterly alive in every sense of the word. Their thoughts, their foibles, their attraction to each other all blends seamlessly. And gods, the sexual tension between them! The lightest kiss had the power to send a shiver up my spine, a most delightful shiver at that. It's an exquisite dance, and you do it to perfection.

This begs to be continued, and I do hope you'll indulge us with more.

Hi there! REALLY interesting work... I LOVE THE MAGIC. The balance between the archon and the witches is super cool. I love how it makes you think about what power *is* - like your river metaphor - is the power of the river the river itself, or the way the water is harnassed and used? Both I guess. And I love how you take what most people I think would assume is a given - that having full access to his power would necessarily be a desirable result for Kajin - and flip that coin over to show that the relationship between the Circle and their archon exists for a reason that benefits him as well as the witches.

I'm also fascinated by Osiris and Narvesh. I'm not sure I totally understand how the gods fit into the global existence of magic and directable power. But it's so neat to me that there are different ways of accessing that sort of ... I don't know otherwordly or not purely physical aid, whether it be defensive or offensive.

Kreshjur and Kajin's relationship is exciting and hot. I actually don't identify with either one of them as much as I usually do with your characters, but in a way that makes it sort of sexier to me because I am getting pulled into their dynamic almost - not reluctantly but by surprise, maybe? Kreshjur is a mystery to me. I don't understand him and I'm not even totally sure I like him... but hell I'd totally love a piece of that myself so I'm rooting for you, Kajin.

You know what is mean? It's mean to direct me to read this amazing chapter and get me all in love with it and on the edge of my seat to find out what happens with the OMG!MUMMIES and then never update. That's mean. Don't do that, mmmkay?

*hugs!!!*

Firstly, that's a very diabolical place to end a chapter.

Secondly, 33 pages (by my computer's count) for the first chapter is rather daunting, but I love it! And I'm over-eager to read the continuation/ending!

You've tied in a bunch of myths and stories extremely well; furthermore, your excellent at writing slash and CLIFFHANGERS!

If there is a way for me to be updated or alerted the next time you post a chapter, let me know!

This is beautifully written and captivates me. I love it and would like for you to continue soon. The story line flows well and is so well thought out. I can't wait to see if you write soon. Please don't give up on it. I would be terribly saddened.

Woah, this fic is epic. I love stories that work with ancient cultures, and this one melds Greek and Egyptian mythology together very well. My only wish is that you slowed the story down a bit and gave it to us blow by blow. I have a pretty short attention span -- I prefer a story to get right into the grit of it, let the characters do some talking, and introduce me to the backstory later (although, as we've discussed, that has it's own problems ;-)). This fic has a Tolkien-esque feel in its scope, however, and I should be taking notes when it comes to setting up a society.
