so very sad!

I don't read anime fanfic... so I don't have any opinion on your writing skills there, but for a first-time original fiction writer (at least on aff.net), that was beautiful. I could almost imagine the scene changes, as though it were a motion picture. I also liked how the characters were emotional, but not overly so. I get the distinct impression that Daniel doesn't even know why he showed up at the meeting place, only that he felt compelled (and not by any emotion that he could name). Great piece: I almost wish it were a longer, multichapter fic, to delve further into detail with the history and with the characters inner thoughts. Thanks!
