I can't for the life of me figure out why u don't have more reviews. It's actually making me quite cross!! There's loads of really rubbish stories out there that get literally hundreds of reviews just because of instant smut and the name of the author, it's like a brand in a way, but u know what, it shouldn't dishearten u, because ur a really good writer n ur story is beyond awesome. Genuinely. So awesome that I did a Reading marathon yesterday n finished all 18 chapter at 3 am. I had to be at work for 8; not the wisest of moves but I was so hooked. I'm actually glad I discovered u a bit late, coz it meant I could read it uninterupted, back to back. I'm not patient when it comes to updates ( I can't complain too much because it'll be a bit like the pot calling the kettle black really.) but when I like a story I really get absorbed completely in it. Please update sooon, pretty please with gummy bears on top.

I can't stand Michael. I hate him with a passion!!! He is scum and I pray that Gerald falls out of love with him FAST. Gerald deserves so much better and I am so tired of stories where the lovesick protagonist ends up with the asshole he has been pining for, even though that bastard is a complete loser, cheater, and deserves to die alone. And I am so sick of Michael saying that Gerald is 'his'. It's repulsive. The immature fuck doesn't love Gerald at all, (he pretty much admitted it when he refused to answer Sean's question), he just doesn't want anyone else playing with his old toy and refuses to let go. Selfish prick. I hope he gets an STI from that whore he's banging. But don't let Gerald catch it too. Christ, I don't want them to end up together, let alone have sex, so yeah, please spare sweet Gerald, but make Michael suffer horribly. I really want Gerald to catch Michael with that skank. It will hurt him, unfortunately, but he really needs to open his eyes to the vileness that is Michael and abandon him like the trash he is. Currently, Gerald is too blinded by love, though I really can't find anything remotely decent about Michael, let alone understand Gerald's love for that cretin. Gerald needs to go to New York, kick ass, and forget that fucker NOW. Please!

Anyways, sorry for the rant, but I HATE Michael and wanted to make that clear. LOL. Thank you for the update and I hope the next one isn't too far off. ;)

Ok, I'm only on chapter 4, but I really wanted to drop a review because I love ur story so far, n basically wish I gave it a chance earlier on. Honestly? The title put me off Reading it, coz I assumed suicide would be involved n well, I have enough angst in my life that I don't like Reading it too. I read ur summary today n thought, I'm gonna read this. And I'm really really glad that I did, because I'm totally in love with ur characters, I love gerald, and I love how mike actually does love him, despite their obvious differences. K, I'm gonna go back to Reading now, n I apologise for not reading, and hence reviewing sooner.

Ok, Michael is officially scum. What The Fuck is he doing with the girl, if he's supposed to be "in love" w/Gerald??? How could he hurt Gerald YET AGAIN?????

On another note: I'm so glad Gerald finally found out who is father is and his grandmother. He's loved his grandmother all his life, and now he knows that she's really family. I'm glad for him.

Can't wait for the next chapter; too bad Gerald can grow a pair and really tell Michael off. :(
