The plot concept is very interesting. A few things did stand out for me, however. It was hard to tell what tense you were using, past or present, and some of your sentence structure was a little messed up. I'd suggest getting a beta-reader. Other than that, the Shadow character seems rather intriguing. I'd like to know a bit more about him ^_^
