This is awesome. I like how you're making Far Seer as foreign and intriguing as mermaid should be, rather than some gussied up pretty boy in a pool. His characterization is excellent as well. I'm really liking where you're going with this.

I love how they both still get each others names hopelessly wrong xD 'Kee-kee' will go back, I'm sure :3 I just wonder what will happen when he's discovered visiting the merman!

Again, beautifully constructed chapter!! I only wish I could read more n' more! Fan art? Maybe! Terry and Far Seer by the pool? Definitely. Foundling? Potentially! tickling feet? Probably! You've made so many great scenes out of this chapter!

ch3-- Far Seer thinks more... human in his anguish of missing his only friend. His wonder and fascination at the land world made me think of what it would be like if Merfolk captured a human and put him on display within their world, what interesting things would the prisoner see? Trying to imagine... Anyway, the hints of Far Seer's 'giving up' were sad, but understandable. His new home, much better, he really did need some sort of shelter to hide in. I also liked how Terry was changed by the experience with the guards, which is realistic. I'm also really glad he went back. At first I thought you meant to make this new prince owner take Terry's place and I was ready to accept that, but I'm glad you didn't! I see the merman as fiercely loyal. The two exploring each others physical differences was touching, but frustrating (in a good way) by their flawed communication. That by itself makes it seem impossible for them to get closer, but then again, love and friendship, if real, have high hitpoints. This story is so damn good. Usually, I have an idea of where I wish a writer would go, but with this one, I'm just glad to go along with whatever and enjoy your writing and this look into a totally alien world. Wow. So well done on every level. I even love the poems you start the chapter with! More soon?

It's a very interesting story; wich I like the most, it's that Far Seer and humans can not comunicate each others, that's more realistic; don't give the opportunity Far Seer becoming human, but many other things could happen. And poor Terry -I love that name- was horrible what happened to him but it was wonderfull how both meet them. And poor merman, he's so free and be trap in a world where he can not do anything else to keep everybody far from him... I really hope Terry can go soon with him. Please, writte soon.
