Well done, you've proven that an adult story can still be fascinating and vigorously stimulating without sex being the driving factor.
I have to admit I really like Terry's character. I don't think you've mentioned his family, but alas he's a young man alone in the world trying to make a place for himself. He had a terrible experience with the guards but is attempting to overcome it with Far Seer providing just the right therapy.
I like their quaint attempts at communication, they have a unique friendship though I am anxious to see when it will progress into something more.
Although I'm glad your story didn't take a page out of the movie "Splash's" book and we don't have our mer character being able to switch from fins to feet at the flip of a hat. Still, I must admit the idea of Far Seer in human form does have it's appeal. Update soon.

I just managed to sit down and read your story and it was brilliant! :) I hope Terry and Far Seer manage to get back together soon and end up together; and that you will update the story soon. :D

poor kai. all alone. your descriptions of his loneliness are very very wonderful. i loooooove them!!! his behavior is just so believable too. great work! i can't wait to see what happens next. love the details!

Oh noooo...Is Far Seer trying to kill himself? He can't. Come on Terry, you know you have to go back, you know you are the only thing the beautiful merman has in his life...sniff sniff.
Must admit, I loved the fan art some people have done for you for this story, especially the 'Feet' one, and the one of Far Seer drawing a horse in the sand for Terry to see. So cute! I wish I could draw....
