Just read chapter two. It was sweet. I feel sorry for Bex sbecause of her mother's lack of caring.

One thing I notised--- it seems that you (like me) enjoy the movie Love Acctually. There was at least two lines (perhps three) diectly from that movie in this chapter. I have never notised that, perhaps you do this more then I realize. Or were you watching it while writing this chapter? lol

Yay, you updated! And Cassandra will be next. I’m in happiness!

This was a very romantic chapter by the way. It’s nice to see Bex and Holden are finally together.

I can’t believe what Bex’s mom told her. Of course her parents always have been rather clueless just leaving her like they did before in your other story. So I guess in many ways, Bex must be used to it. It must hurt bad though.

It sounds rather dreamy having them both live in Bex’s tiny flat, living on love. I hope everything works out okay for them.

Lovely chapter though!

Worth the wait, Evie, this was a lovely chapter; I enjoyed it so much.

Of course, it's never a good idea to say yes to the Sun!

Bex's mother sounds absolutely grim - 'Don't you think you're old enough to call me Minty' indeed. I could see her in my mind's eye, all Joan-Crawfordesque in a turban and swimsuit brandishing a cigarette holder.

How sweet that they went to Wandsworth Common (even though I got followed across it by some creepy weirdo once, lol). This scandal has had a postive effect on Bex and Jack's relationship - it's a relief to have everything out in the open.

(Oh, and was Louisa May Alcott anything to do with being Beth March in that quiz? Ha ha).

I'm so glad you are writing another one! I lovvved this chapter, the dress sounded hot.

And for some reason... I don't feel bad for Annabelle. She blackmailed Holden, she knew he loved someone else. Oh well.

Oh wow! Lovely stuff, Evie - is this a oneshot or will the story continue?

I once walked from Smithfield (nr. St Pauls) to Tooting. At four in the morning. Sorry, that's completely irrelevant, isn't it? LOL.

I guess I can see why Holden was such a jerk now...all the same, he can't seem to have a relationship with one woman without screwing up another's life, can he? It's crunch time for him, I think!

Oooo Evie, I’m so excited! You wrote a sequel!

Now Rebecca looks like she’s dressed to kill and I love the added touch with the pillbox hat with the net. Green's my favorite color too! Lol

Showing up late – tsk tsk – how funny. I think she made an impression.

So now I understand why Holden broke up with her. I guess maybe he’s not such a cad after all. So now I'm wondering what’s going to happen with Annabelle.

Great Job! Thanks so much for continuing this!!
