What happened? Why did Jason freak out like that? And, where's the evil Jonathan? Is he plotting something? Oh, where is Jasons dad gone? And whats the mysterious package that's been left for him?
I don't know why but, I like Troy. I hope Jason can overcome his nervousness, and realise that not all relationships have to be painful.....

Chapter 17

So interesting about the circumstances of his father
leaving for a few days!! Job interview maybe? HA!

Really sorry that Jason couldn't enjoy the affections
of Troy. So much is happening here and I still really
wish someone could help him. Maybe a less abusive master?

Money is generally considered to be singular. You shouldn't say "them". "It" is fine. :)

I'm really excited to see where you with this. I hope Jason gets to see Tristan again.

Chapter 16

Wow!! Things are starting to happen for Jason!
(Hope he and Tristan find each other when the coast is clear!!)

His dad is majorly confusing him!! Yahoo that Jonathan didn't
get another go at him and At least the laundry is open all night!!

Aw, poor Jason. I don't think his dad 'kicked him out', like for good. I think his dad was just trying to defuse the situation a little, and told Jason to get out of the way while he calmed Jonathan down. Probably now, Jason's dad is going to be mad at him for NOT going back when the poker was over. For making him, dare I say, actually worry about his son....
And like Jason, I too am totally confused by his dad's strange behaviour. Giving Jason money to buy clothes? Also giving him money weekly to buy food? What's going on?

Just a few little errors to put right when you're ready.....


I *lied* (lay) down on the floor and pulled Tristan to lie down in front of me (Lied is to tell untruths...)

I piled my choices on the counter and gave the old lady *and* (a) nervous smile

praying that dad would at least let me keep *on* (one) of the jeans

Great chapter...as always. It'll be interesting to see if Jonathan does anything. And I really hope Tristan gets a happy ending, poor little tyke. I'm worried for him, what with that bouncer, Kevin, sniffing around.....

I believe Jason’s dad is realizing that his son is getting older, and although he doesn’t let the poor kid eat on a regular basis he must know the day will come when Jason will know that he won’t have to take his crap anymore. I don’t think his dad cares not one bit for his son’s well fare so long as he is able to make money out of him. I believe that as long as he can mess with the kid’s mind and keep him afraid and docile, it buys more time for his father to keep control over the boy whose self esteem is zero at this point. Holding Jonathan off for awhile is not a sign of concern, Jason is his father’s meal ticket and that is what the SOB is protecting. He will allow Jason certain liberties only to rein him in more tightly. He is making sure Jason is completely dependent on him. I can’t wait for the chapter when Jason will realize that he may be stronger then he thinks and he will be the one to exact his revenge on all of them, and I hope that in the end he and his friend Tristan will be able to get away and make a life for themselves. I’m not feeling Troy right now he is too much of an airhead, can’t see past his own nose to know anyone else is there with him. So the jury is still out on him. You are an amazing writer and a very good story teller, I am so happy to see when a new chapter is added, and don’t worry too much about errors compared to others, your writing skills are very good. I look forward to another update and I hope poor Jason will see the light, because the only one who can save Jason is Jason himself.
