I really enjoyed reading your story! I read all fifty chapters in a day. =) The ending was really sweet.. it's nice to know that Jason finally gets happiness in his life after being deprived for so long. However, I wish that there was some closure with Troy and Benton!

Omigod...deep breath... I've read your stuff, and then today i found this news story online and it really sounded like something out of one of your stories! http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/04/01/shackled.teen/
I love your stories and my philosophy is that anything goes in fiction, of course "fiction" being the key word, I would never wish anything like what you write about to happen in real life. Which is why finding this news article was so shocking, both for the content (like a couple of paragraphs out of your stories) and the tragic fact that it is real though!! I'd be curious to know what you think of it.

Great story. I read it in two days - I am so greedy. I am impressed by your ability to write while taking classes and dealing with all the distractions life has to offer. I laughed when you said you were going to borrow your mom's laptop. I can imagine my mom's face if she came across one of those chapters. The story was really well written and not at all predictable. Even at chapter 30, I had no idea of how the story would turn out. I am glad that Jason finally made the decision to run instead of continually being a victim. I think the story did a good job of pointing out how confused and lonely Jason felt, and how the system just abandoned him once he turned 18. Before age 18, you are entitled to all these services and instantly after turning 18 you are out on your own as if you don't exist anymore. I am glad that there seems to be hope for the future for Jason and Chris and Kevin. Kevin's character was very intriguing because at first I thought he was an informer for the police. I couldn't imagine a man with any conscience at all working in a place that sold small children like Tristan. He definitely has two sides to his personality. Great writing and great story. Thanks for sharing this with us

Hallo! I loved this although I cried several times of course. I really like your characters - I think that it takes a really strong person to keep their native sweetness in the face of such steady and constant abuse. I also like that you made the abuse realistic rather than fantastical so that could always keep focus on sympathy with the boys and not the men who used them. I'm really glad that Jason was able to finally have a real family and friends that will help him heal. I love happy endings too, especially when the journey's been especially harrowing. Thanks very much and please keep writing *huggles*

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FINALLY Jason has found his place in a happy life!!! ^_^ I'm so very happy for him! He deserves all the happiness in the world, and I love that they've become a happy family. Kevin, that protective and loving father-figure, and Chris the loving silly boyfriend =)
THANK YOU for this awesome story!!! It kept me hooked through the entire thing, and I've already started reading your Nemo story ^_^ I know it's gonna be just as awesome as this one! Hehe, tho, your ending for this Epilogue does hint to more ;) lol but it's probably just my wishful thinking.
