XDD WOOT! Ethan's family! But yea... i kinda figured that his family would come when Felix said that Ethan's family probably won't approve to have a human with them but WE APPROVE! XDD can't wait for next chapter and ooOOOooo hurting eye and accident! I bet that accident has something to do with that evil aura around him ;D

YEA! Amelia is back. I missed her...now mint chocolate and honey mustard ice cream with chocolate soy beans...you had me until you add the honey mustard to it.
Now you've got my attention back to Nicoli's eye situation and that accident from the past...intriguing...hmmm.
Well I'm excited to read about Ethan's family coming to visit...I'm wondering, are they good or bad or in between? I have a feeling this little town is about to see some actions with the vampires, witches and omens around.
I listened to the songs for the opening and ending...and you're right...they do fit...this would make an awesome tv series...networks would be stupid to pass this up, well in my opinion!
YEA! I was the first to sign up!!!! That's exciting! BTW if I haven't mentioned it lately...I freakin' love this story...don't worry...I know how school and be...I'm in grad school myself so I would be extremely grateful for any updates you can give us.

i really liked the last two chapters, the one packed with action and tension (well written!) as well as the calm one. aside from ethan's family (!!!) being mentioned there's an air of mystery (if mild for now) around nicoli. and those lazy chapters are a great occasion to learn new bits and pieces about him (and other characters as well, there're no simple ones in this story ^^'). there's the eye, but there're the blank moments in nicoli's past as well (things like that, once mentioned and never got back to, tend to bug me XD same as with those light orbs/voices :P). so yeah, there's more to nicoli than what we know right now... do i have to say that what nicoli's parent's said about him being totally different than them bugs me as well? unless i'm reading too deep into nicoli's specialness (is there even a word like that?). as if him being a vampire's accomplice (and a part time crush) isn't enough >.>
ethan's family makes me wonder too, but more in the likes of who will he introduce to nicoli. will it be something like "nicoli, meet my parents, uncle fred and my sister mary" or "meet my sire"? that could be amusing :>
did i said before that i love the frequent updates? i do :]

Gah! I've been reading your story forevvver and a day and let me tell You! I love it, and even more so since Ethan is a little crazy and called his family. Cuz thats SO hawt.

Kyaaa~ Yay! I'm so happy that I can finally read your chapters without the need of finals XD Anyways, the chapters were absolutely superb! And I think you did the right thing by letting us only hear Omen's side of the phone conversation. It gives it some suspense since it makes the reader wonder who the person might be. If the person is a character that we've met before then I would say it was Amelia's aunt or Amelia's family. If it's a character we don't know then maybe the head of the organization that Omen's in? See! There's a whole range of suspects which is invoked by the simple gesture of letting us only hear Omen's side of the conversation. And you know what. I think Nicoli and Ethan should thank Omen b/c if Omen didn't chase Nicoli then Nicoli wouldn't have found the room at all! Even without the wards and all the works right? muahahahaha! anyways, can't wait for next chapter!

*just sits there with her jaw on the floor* That was amazing...seriously. I was away for a couple of weeks and I come back to these two action packed chapters. It was like watching a movie...in words. lol. Hmmm...I wonder who Omen was speaking to. Mysterious. And Nicoli has some tricks up his sleeve, clever boy! Until next chapter, keep up the good work!

I think that your fight seen was awsome. I wonder if Ethan and Nicoli can read the book or if only witches can?! And if that's the case they do know one. :) Can't wait for the next update!!!
