another great chapter...awww felix and ethan are like brothers when you think of it...they get on each others nerves but they seem to always be there for each other one way or another...wow andre and omen "owen" that was a twist...i can't wait to see how that back story develops...oooh ethan stayed with nicoli...i wonder what those two might get into ;)...thanks for the update and as usually i can't wait to read your next chapter.

And then Nic dies, The End! Yay~! ... Wait, that's a horrible ending! ~_~ Nic passes out, gets possest again, and kicks some major arse! There, that's better. JK I just hate cliff hangers... even though I leave them a lot in my own stories... T-T And how dare his parents pour Holy Water in his drink, what if the mind link had reacted to it? Then he would be in serious trouble.

oh no...the omen is so cruel...just when nicoli is starting to open up to the possibility of him and ethan getting down and dirty the omen had to pop up with his evilness...oh cliffie, you taunt me so but it is a good one...you are right soon nic will have a few of heights too...btw congrads on your success on Moonlight Denial. it is truly a pleasure to stay with this story and don't worry i'm not going anywhere...oh and congrads on the new computer...YAY...well i can't wait for the next chapter...thanks for the updates!

well, yeah, I'm back :P
And no! absolutely not! The web you're spinning is just the right size :D I love the mystery, the plotting, the clues springing everywhere like snowdrops in february. I don't know how you are writing this story, but it feels as if you'd created the basic outline before you started anything, hence the bits and pieces of answers/questions popping here and there during the whole story. It adds... I don't know how to name it... substance? to the plot. Makes it all the more compelling, complex, intelligent, fascinating and a few other adjectives of anyone's choice :) The frustration I feel after reading each chapter is a good frustration. Similar to what one feels after finishing their favorite dessert. The one you can never have enough of :P
I've already re-read the story at one point, what was written at the time, but I seriously can't wait for it to be finished so that I will be able to read it in its whole glory at once... Though I will miss it, then >_< I don't know what would be better...
Now, about the latest chapter... Ever since Nicoli realized he's been kidnapped I was hoping Ethan would be listening in, feeling the boys distress... But the lazy bum was sleeping! *kicks Ethan mentally* BTW, how exactly does the link work? How come Ethan could feel Nicoli's nervousness before but didn't catch on his panic? Does he have to concentrate on getting any feed form the boy? Or is he a constant presence in the back of his mind? We know Nicoli hears only what Ethan wants him to hear, but we know he's not as proficient in using the bond as the vampire is.
What Oman said about the vampires only using him... poor Nicoli has no idea how close to home the man hit. Nikoli's right to believe that he is more to Ethan than just a tool, but will the vampire care enough to stand up to Conrad if the latter doesn't change his mind about disposing of the boy in the end? Will his wishes matter to Conrad at all? It was just sad to read, knowing how trusting Nicoli is and what Conrad really plans on doing with him...
I wonder who else Ethan took with him. Felix for sure, someone has to catch Nicoli mid-air (:P). But what about the others? It would be a nice accent, one that shows the boy that not only Ethan but also his family cares about him, even a litte, enough to come to his rescue when he needs one. If he did take someone with him I wonder how Nicoli's actions will look in their eyes. He clearly resisted Oman, didn't want to betray those he believes to be his friends. And yet, at the end, when faced with imminent death he almost gave in. Not that he's to blame, it's understandable. But will it be held against him? Will it give Conrad a proof he needed to convince his family that humans are not to be trusted with secrets? Or will the fact that he had almost died for them be counted in his favor? Only time (next chapter, I hope? XD) will tell.
As for Nikoli being likable. He is, don't worry :P A bit bratty, true, but caring and loving enough. Plus, he's a teenage boy, what were you expecting XD Hehe... I love his reasongs as far as making out with Ethan is concerned XD God, men are sluts ^^' But yeah, that's how they are, we have no choice to accept them as them. It's actually quite refreshing, reading about a guy that behaves/thinks like a guy and not about a girl in a boy's body (because too often that's what your stereotypical boy in slash stories is). Nicoli by no means is in love with Ethan. There's an attraction for sure, some sort of attachment, but no feelings deeper than "like". So expecting a guy to be pining after him and him only is groundless. That's why Nikoli thinking of Preston, and even his ex-girlfriend, made me smile :) He's definitely no Gary/Marty/whatever other name Stu. He's just a guy that thinks, behaves and feels like a guy should. Much love for him ^^=
Oman... the guy has some serious problems, just like Nikoli said. His obsession with vampires has to be based on some dramatic event in his past. Was he or someone he held dear hurt by one? That seems to be the most logical explanation for his behavior. Or... someone he loved was taken away from him and turned into a vampire? Decided to change by themself? That would explain him thinking he's doing Nicoli a favor by killing him, being dead guarantees no change after all... Intriguing. But that doesn't change the fact that he sucks for pushing the boy off the cliff (yeah, you took "cliffhanger" almost literally...). Whatever his issues are you don't go killing people that haven't done anything bad, and you can't go re-defining the meaning of "bad", either. So there. (I don't hate Oman, but I'm not liking him very much at the moment either).
Ok, I'm done (almost).
Spring break you say... :> I hope you'll have a few more days of it, because seriously, girl, this cliffhanger is EVIL!!!! ^^'

Ahhhhhhhh. o__________o I've been silent up until now, but I just can't get over how mean you are to poor Nicoli. I'm glad he at least got some love in the last chapter. :c He definitely deserves it after all you put him through. And I'm... with Omen on this one. .-. Ethan might not be a terrible person, and neither is the rest of the family, but Ethan is terrible enough to let Conrad have his way with Nicoli in the end. :/ I don't think he'll be able to change Conrad's mind about killing him once this is all over (if he even survives the push off the cliff).

What about mysterious person from Nicoli's past will he make appearance in your story ? I am dying to meet him... Dark , myserious, has evil/semi-evil past I think I am in love...
