The squirrel thing was awesome I have to say. I thought that it might be another breather chapter or something like that but then when he got nap I was actually surprised. Brava.

I never reviewed last chapter, I'm sorry! But I've just been SO busy lately that all I really had time for was to read the chapter (and even then, I had to read half then and half later kind of thing) But anyway, last chapter was great. I was sad that Ethan wasn't in it (and same with this one!) But it has been awhile since you've shown Amelia and Nicoli both, so I feel it was needed, especially the talk they had (even if they're both still lying to one another).
This chapter seemed shorter? Not sure if that's the case, I guess it just seemed that way to me. I was shocked with Nicoli getting kidnapped, but am excited to find out who did it and why. Also, his rescue. I think Demitri did it, since Omen doesn't seem likely to hire others to do the job, and since he's not after Nicoli at all anymore (and he's not supposed to harm him at all). Anyway, since we know Demitri and them have been watching Nicoli and stuff, then it's the best bet that they're behind it. Now, we only have to wait to see what their plans may be (can't wait!)
Hm, and go ahead and call me BU :) As long as you keep the updates coming, I won't do anything to you (or will I?) Just kidding. Anyway, I still haven't done any fanart of your characters, but I will do it soon (when I finally find the time! I promise) And don't worry, I do interpret them a tad differently in some aspects, but they don't look too far off base :P At least that's what I feel like, I guess you'll find out whenever I do finish the fanart. Hm, I may actually have time tomorrow to work on it *crosses fingers* But I can't make any promises. My life is so freaking busy that it's really getting annoying *sigh*
Anywho, I'm glad my rambling doesn't bother you. Usually if I do ramble, then that means I liked the chapter a lot. So yeah ;) Expect more of that in the future. You know, as much as I don't-mind Amelia (which is something, considering the amount of annoying, whiny, predictable, stereotypical, patronizing, useless, boring female characters out there that I want to stab, stab, stab), I spent most of this chapter thinking 'COME ON, GET BACK TO THE VAMPIRES, I WANT ETHAN, RRRRR,'. But yeah. I feel that this chapter was another tease like the previous one (although I do thoroughly approve of some Nickel-Beethoven lovin') despite the tad of action at the end. I feel we (you and I) ought to discuss the DISTINCT lack of smut and fluff as of late. Once every few chapters is hardly enough, and although the plot line is vaguely important (at a stretch) I am wholly disappointed. Well, not really. Moving on, I'd definitely like to know more about the must-sing-creepy-cock-robin-poem guy who appears in Nicoli's nightmares. I remember him mentioning something like Nicoli is 'surrounding himself with little vampires' which suggests that he ISN'T a vampire, which implies that, since he is obviously very powerful and non-vampirey, he must therefore be a wizard, werewolf, ogre, fairy, orc, or something. Am I right? Am I? Orc smut!

I think the stupid thing was just acting up.. a friend fixed it by pressing three buttons, so Im not really sure, lol. Those damn squirrels! Getting poor Nicoli into even more trouble! Good thing he's been training with Gavin over the mind control thingy. Ethan needs to come save the day! (again)

Chapter 44: Nicoli’s family is so sweet! Poor Laura, she doesn’t have a chance with her boys. XD I like Bethoven more and more (although I think dogs have less brains than cats). Umm… don’t get me wrong. I LOVE ALL ANIMALS (except for all kind of bugs), it just that I think cats are more intelligent than dogs. ;) Fighting in the mud was great! I had a laugh at that part and when Amelia showed up the whole episode became even more pleasurable. XD Swamp monster – that was just brilliant! Amelia’s using magic in front of Nicoli again? One day he will catch her, or maybe not. XD I don’t see him finding out that she’d a witch in that way. XD Nicoli was blunt, wasn’t he? But I was wondering who is the one fucking who there… I can’t picture Nicoli fucking a guy. XD Fucking with a guy, well that’s a totally different thing and I think we can say that he is fucking with Ethan in more that one way, if you know what I mean? XDD
BTW Will Amelia be the one who will open the book? After that chapter where they say that a witch can open it I started to wonder and if I’m right I wonder how much longer will it take to get her involved in the whole mess. :)
Oh! I have been thinking. Will nicoli ever use the rings? Maybe while running away from someone. XD I like to picture a scene like that and no matter how much I try I always end up adding Amelia there with Nicoli, but he is the one actually jumping into one of the circles and dragging her with him after the fairies (or whatever they are, I can’t remember) tolled him to do so. XD
To tell you the truth, at first I was a bit disappointed with the chapter. You know, it being a normal chapter and all, a side step, a short break from the vampires and all, but I really enjoyed it in the end. ;)

What was with that squirrel? Was that a distraction method or something? If it was then it worked I would say. XD Then kidnapping makes me wonder. Hm… I play Sherlock Holmes again. XD First, Nicoli wouldn’t be able to fight if that were vampires and I don’t think they would think of a sedative other than their power. Second: Would a vampire said that Nicoli broke his nose? That might be true, but I don’t think so… The strength when they held him, well, I don’t think Nocoli is the strongest so humans would be able to restrain him easily enough.
Next: Even with all the training would Nicoli really be able to fight a vampire off? I don’t think so. A human, well, that would work since until now his opponents were strong vampires, he must be used to guarding his head, right? But at the other hand Faith couldn’t break into Amelia’s mind as well, but did she even try hard enough? I don’t think Amelia would stand a chance with Faith. Dimitri? Would it be so simple? Maybe, I don’t know. It’s a possibility, but I like another option. Since I don’t like Omen I’m counting that possibility out. I like to think that those who kidnapped Nicoli are from Amelia’s family. That would be fun! Ethan possibly with Andre and maybe even Gavin coming to the rescue to Amelia’s house and hell breaks loose. XD There is only one problem. Who were those people who kidnapped Nicoli? If that was Amelia’s aunt then Nicoli should have recognized her voice, right? Well, since I’m a terrible wanna-be Sherlock Holmes I’ll need to wait for you to clear out the mystery. ;) And well, when Nicoli wakes up he can always call Ethan again, right? ;)

That was so great!!!!!! Finally a bit action again!!!!!! *jumps happiely up and down!!!* I want more!!!! I really hope Eathan did hear his call!!!! I somehow got the feeling that the woman is the one descendant fo the guardian who hired Omen!!!! But that just might be my imagination!!! I so happy his training helped him a bit!!! And I really that he will be ok!!!! The clan really needs to save him!!!! And I can't wait for the part you really wanted to write cause it got to be awsome!!!! I really hope you will update soon!!!! Hey there,
I'm writing mostly to check in and give a bit of an explanation for my absence as well as to assure you I'm still being a faithful fan (if being one that's too lazy/tired to review).
Between my brother and his wife moving out (which makes the place my own now, one that needs renovation), upper echelon change at work (meaning more work for me) and vacation wedged somewhere in between my procrastination took better of me and I never sat down and wrote those reviewes I was due. But I want you to know I'm still reading your story and that I immensly enjoy it, chapter after chapter. It's just that I know that once I start writing I won't finish untill I share all my thoughts (or at least most of it) and, sadly, it usually takes me way too much time :/ (what with me looking up words and checking for grammatical correctness all the time). So I'm left with more time on my hands and guilty conscience (because not writing comments makes me feel bad).
Oh, BTW, I think both Dimitri and Seth are totally creepy. And here I liked the name "Seth" so... ^^'
As for you being predictable - I was sure someone bad would pop up in this chapter and snatch Nicoli away while he was alone and defenseless. So you're so NOT predictable.
