fuckawsome chapter! gods you got so much out of this chapter. I loved the whole scene with Ethan and Conrad(and a bottom Ethan who wouldn't love that,i know i would). i feel so sorry for Faith ,but why do i get the feeling that Faith and Evan will be seeing each other without the other families knowledge?As for the wait.... well worth it. This was a chapter that needed done because it let you in on just how Faith is and the conflict between Conrad and Ethan.But what will Nic do if he finds out that Conrad and Ethan had sex together?

I must admit that I had a big goofy grin on my face as I was reading the scene between Amelia and Ethan.
They were so cute!

I was sorry that Faith was so upset. Was she in love with Evan romantically or something?

I am so disappointed in Ethan! *sigh* Nicoli is hurting and wounded and Ethan is off cheating on him!
That's terrible and I am so not happy with him at the moment! *crosses arms and shakes head*
Sure Conrad was feeling down and sorry for himself, but he wasn't the one tortured for days and now carrying permanent scars from the ordeal!

Hey, glad to see you're back from your short hiatus. It's not like I can blame you though because I been a bit of a lurker for the last couple chapters. I'm not actually sure when I last reviewed, which chapter I mean. I may have only missed one, but it feels like forever. *guilty smile* I haven't had much computer time, so I have to read them on my phone but the document is to big to fit the screen so I end up emailing the text to myself and reading it there... long (tedious) explanation short: I can't review from my inbox.

Overdue-Review-Ch.-56

Aww!!! Poor Felix! (for once it's not 'poor nicoli' but he didn't have much fun this chapter either) That's one of the most fucked up ways to die I can imagine. Not just murdered by your lover's brother, but by a man who shares your lover's face. Christ. I get why he's usually so snarky nowadays, I don't think I'd be half as pleasant as he's been so far if 'that' was how I died. God. Meier's a dick. lol

Hey look! A bad guy I don't like! lol Unless he has some sort of 'heartwrenching-past-tragedy' thing going for him I don't think I'll be leaving 'Team-Ethan' anytime soon.

And just for tradition's sake, "Poor Nicoli" All alone in the basement just waiting to be saved. He needs a hug. I'm sure Seth would oblige, but I don't think Nicoli would find it or anything else he'd undoubtably do to him after said hug pleasant.

Overdue-Review-Ch.-57

Jesus Christ on a pogo-stick! You have this very refined talent with inducing pity don't you? I know you do it purposely. ...I have to admit though, I really do love that every character has something going on with them. Their all relevant, you know? No cardboard cutouts just to fill space in a conversation. And they're all heartbroken too!

Now, I bet you're wondering who's 'poor' in this review. lol First is Faith. That's a given, she had to deal with her 'brother' (using the term loosely) being forced to fight and try to kill her other 'brother' (again, very loose term) who she loved and still loves, but who killed the boy who was in love with (still loves?) the aforementioned 'brother.'

...You should write for a soap opera. ...Or turn this into one! lol

Also, while Meier 'did' gain a few points in my book for loving Faith, his psychotic betrayal and his devotion to Dimitri still have him pretty far down on the list of characters I'm in love with.

Oh! And I love the parallels between the Conrad/Dimitri fight and the Evan/Ethan fight! Esp. because in the 1st it's the 'good' brother who really wants to kill the other while in the second it's the 'bad' one... I think. I confused myself. I just liked how Conrad and Evan were both totally on the offensive and Ethan and Dimitri both kinda didn't want to kill the other.

(This was a long chapter so the long review is totally your fault.)

M'kay, so I L O V E D your fight scenes they were great! Aaaaaand... I also L O V E D the tender little moment where Nicoli and Felix hug it up. Also, this brings up a bit of a 'poor Felix' point- It had to hit kinda close to home that the same people responsible for his death took the kid who is now sleeping with his former lover, just a little too close to what happened to him maybe.

And the reunion between Nicoli and Ethan, I love the image of poor (lol) beaten Nicoli stretching his arms to Ethan to be picked up... someone should get on that bit of fanart treasure, like, now. :)

Okay, last thing. Promise. I laughed out loud at Seth's little temper tantrum at the end. Poor temporarily blinded psycopath. Oh! And (Shit. Sorry, broke my promise.) I really loved Seth's fight scene in this, he's got a legend-killer thing going for him now and I love it! Upstart little (Or not-so-little, whatever, young, at least.) vampire going around and killing off all the big, old baddies just to prove he can. And he's got a little obsession with Gavin too. Is there any fanart for Seth yet?

I really think I've drawn this out long enough, so ta-ta-for now!

Okay- last of three, lol, sorry for taking up so much space, esp with that last one!

Aaaannnyywwaaaayys... I think I'll start my review with the old stand-by phrase: "Poor Nicoli!" You scarred up his back!? Oh well, while shocking, I couldn't really expect him to escape without some kind of lasting damage. At least Seth never 'really' got his claws into him.

I was kinda hoping for a tearful episode where Nicoli tells Ethan that when he met Meier he was so happy because he thought it was him and how much it hurt when it wasn't and so on and so forth, but then I thought that that might be wringing the guilt a bit too much, you know? Like he doesn't feel bad enough as it is. And Meier already pointed it out to him. Meh. He deserves a break.

And we even got a bit of Conrad here, I'm hoping that this hints he has some newfound respect for Nicoli and won't act like a jerk to him. Aww, he's gonna like him! And then he won't kill him! lol Anyways his reasons for that threat in the first place was so Ethan wouldn't get too attached and then get hurt if ...this exact scenario happened, but since Nicoli has already been put in and taken out of harm's way there's no need for the threat now... right?

And the sweet little moment with Ethan and Nicoli- "Get in the fucking bed!" lol I laughed out loud when I read that, and seeing as it was 1am and everyone else is sleeping that wasn't necessarily a good thing.

The chapters were so long, and so much happened, that in my head Nicoli was a prisoner for a lot longer than he really was, when Amelia's mom was telling him about how they got around his parents I was like, "Oh shit, that all happened really fast huh?"

Okay so, sorry if nothing I've just posted makes sense, it IS 4:30 in the morning now... and I may or may not (may) be drinking. You should still be able to puzzle it out, I hope, even with a pint of vodka running through my system I doubt I've made many grammatical or spelling errors. lol It's following my train of thought you'll have trouble with. :D

Blast! Right after I posted this I went through and read them all. I made one mistake per post. :( I'm so ashamed, not of my ego (that's well deserved) of the shameful grammatical errors. D; (crying face?)

I finally caught up on all the chapters! It only took me being miserably ill to do it 8D Aw it was great and so sad! T___T I'm glad Amelia was making it up cause for real she was starting to piss me off (Bah I tried being understanding but my understanding reaches it's limits) But I'm glad she finally saw (some of) the vamps as y'know people and that her and Nic FINALLY know about each other. Poor Felix T3T Felix needs ghosty love. GHOSTY LOVE I DEMAND IT DARKNESS XD But seriously great chapters I'm really glad I got caught up on this I totally missed it and I'm glad Nicoli is back and safe in Ethan's arms! Can't wait for the next chapter and I hope you're getting settled in!

What a great update. So much history from Ethan and Evan. What a troubled childhood. Nicoli and Amelia's friendship is so much stronger and I can only imagine it will get stronger. Hopefully this bond between Nicoli and Ethan will get stronger also. Felix's story is so heartbreaking, not only did he lose his life, he lost a physical love life with his love, Ethan. This story is so interesting and detailed and complicated. It is just the type of story that keeps you coming back for more and more. I love it! Thanks for the update and I look forward to the next one.

I feel bad for Evan now. With a psycho for a mom how could he possible turn out normal and witnessing his mother after she hung herself probably messed him up for good. He seems to be the type of person who is easily led by stronger personalities and that's probably because Ethan was such a strong personality and Evan was with him a lot in the formative years of his life. It's still sad though that they had to suffer so much as children.

I'm sad for Nicoli that he has those scars, but I think he should just focus on the fact that he is alive and safe. I'm glad that he talked with Amelia and Ethan and that everything is okay between all of them. I hope Amelia will continue to be nicer to Ethan even though Nicoli has been rescued.

I'm very curious as to how things will go when Nicoli gets home to his parents. I also want to know where that thing inside of him disappeared to. Why hasn't it popped up lately. I would have thought that when Nicoli was weak from the torture and fear that it would have taken that opportunity to try to take over. When are we going to find out more about that thing?
