This was a great chapter! I was so happy with almost everything that happened!

Deloris' attitude was too much! LOL! I loved the way she didn't take any crap from Conrad...especially since I was still pissed at him from last chapter. I thought it was interesting the way Felix was so frightened of her, she must be seriously powerful. It was great the way she put fan-girl in her place too, pointing out her naivety.

When Conrad grabbed Nicoli by his ear and dragged him upstairs I was like...oh no, here we go again...but then I was pleasantly surprised by what he said when they got there. I'm back to loving Connie *snickers* again. I was glad when he pointed out Nicoli's loss of trust in the clan's protection in a good way. He didn't make it an accusation or a weakness and I think that was awesome of him. It was also great the way he told Nicoli that he was a part of the clan, even if only temporary, I think Nicoli needed to hear that even if he didn't know he needed to at the time.

Finally, when Conrad said, “That would be Ethan’s fiery spirit at work. I swear, whenever we get into an argument it always ends with me having to buy new furniture.” I LMAO and had to read it again just to giggle more! That was just too funny! Keep up the great work!

Just a quick review here. Of course still reading and liking almost all! Just a tiny thing...she may be a fun/cool/favorite etc etc character and I did like her in the beginning, but Amelia is really starting to annoy me now (getting me angry more like it). She seems like a know-it-all to me with no regard to her "best friend's" (aka Nicoli) feelings. Actually intended to go behind his back on this, especially after she was moaning about how guilty SHE still feels for something that happened to a best friend of hers. And now basically saying "You are just a weak human Nicoli, but I have superpowers so I will protect you now. Be gratefull to me."

Truthfully, it does not seem like anyone is listening to Nicoli at the moment. The 'understanding' there was between Conrad and him just flew out the window, Faith welcomes Amelia with open arms and worst: Ethan does not seem to care that Nicoli might end up hating him!

You have done a good job with all the characters in giving them a background. I just do not like some characters, but that's just me. Nicoli is the most important character to me and right now he is being pushed to the sidelines and actually not that important anymore as someone else figured out the books.

So I hope you have something lined up that only HE is capable of doing and making HIM the focus of the story again!

Wow Deloris herself in the book! Now I definitely didn't see that coming. I'm am loving Nicoli more and more. And the love Amelia and Nicoli share is heartwarming...they would definitely do anything for each other, even go against Conrad, the big bully! Great chapter, loved it! Can't wait for more!

Okay...first of all Amelia really pissed me off when she went behind Nicoli's back, or tried to, and went to the clan. That was underhanded and something a friend would never do. She's just as bad as Conrad! They are both doing things for their own reasons without thought or regard to other peoples feelings, just like Dimitri! I was waiting for Nicoli to tell Conrad that he was no better than Dimitri.

I was really proud of Nicoli for standing up to Conrad. It was about time someone gave that pompous ass a reality check, I just wish some of it had gotten through to him. Maybe something will sink in later and he'll realize he's wrong to belittle Nicoli and Amelia's lives just because they're human.

So, I just read 73 chapters of this wonderful story and have enjoyed it more than I can remember enjoying any piece of literature in a very long time. I love all of your characters, they are very well written with strengths and weaknesses that enhance and drive the story forward. I've seen some nice twists and some great dynamics between many of these characters, and some characters I didn't really like at first have grown on me greatly after discovering their history. I haven't enjoyed the most recent chapters as much because it seems to suddenly take on an overwhelming focus on Amelia, and while I love her as a character, it seems really tedious to sit through chapters devoted to her development and I'm cringing at the thought of possibly seeing her join the clan in their efforts (not because I don't like her character, she's a great character--but having her randomly through in our face after 70 chapters is a bit disappointing).

And poor Nicoli! I'm very interested to see if Conrad will ever quit being so... Conrad-ish towards him, haha. Nicoli's mouth can be quite the troublemaker in these little ventures of his, and Conrad reminds me of a poisonous snake that's wrapped around your neck--friendly at first glance, but the slightest wrong move and you're done for.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing where this story will go. This is easily the best piece of fiction on AFF.net at the moment and I'm sure it will only get better from here on out.

I do enjoy the story but it is moving really really slowly. And Amelia is getting very irritating combined with the fact that no one gives a shit about what Nicoli has to stay. Also, I'm kind of wondering where the romance in this story has gone. Whatever there was between Nicoli and Ethan has vanished - they never even talk anymore and the situation is made complicated by the fact that Felix loves Ethan. Also, I feel like for the last fifteen chapters I've been waiting to find out the secret about Nicoli's past and the person who is trying to find him and the mystery of the pain in Nicoli's eye. I know the plot is important but it kind of feels like it's ALL plot now and no romance. Not that romance is even essential, but I got the impression at the beginning of the story that the thing between Nicoli and Ethan was going to go somewhere. Oh well. Sorry to complain, it just feels like every chapter nothing really happens.

Oh snap, talk about everything going to hell. It's been a while since I read this, no computer and all, but when I get back I find everything gone to hell? You sure know how o throw a spanner in the works huh? In a good way though XD

Hey, he did the right thing. Conrad may be Mr. head of the family but he still shouldn't haved used Amelia like that, plus it's nice to see Nicoli bumping heads with him.

good chapter nicole so is going to get it lol but hay good last two chapter tho i want to learn more about that evil aura and the robin poem can u post it? i want to read it lol
