This story sounds like you read 'The Gift of Ys' On nifty by Jae Monroe. But I would like to see where you take this.

I was a bit skeptical of the story after reading the summary, but I am really glad I gave it a chance.
This is excellent work. I especially like how you've introduced the characters and set the pace of the story. Can't wait to read more!
