hi!
as I was really sucked in by your story, I'll leave you a few words :)
1. I like your style very much. it's easy. it just sinks into my head, no effort needed.
2. as for the boys... well, I don't see their behavior too convincing sometimes. I don't see all those horrible things Anthony was supposed to have been doing, I don't know why Shawn should hate him so much (at least he claims so). Anthony doesn't really behave like a son of a bitch, apart from some minor incidents and Shawn doesn't seem to be a wimp from your descriptions, so he's not like someone to provoke jibes and teasing from jocks.
I've been thrown into the situation of a mutual(?) hatred-supposed-to-be and I have only your statement as a base :)
what I'm trying to say is that I lack a more solid background behind their actions, characters, attitudes.
In general - you're really good with written word and I enjoy the mood you create. my comments are just comments, so don't feel offended if I have some reservations :)
PS
Forgive me my mistakes - I'm not a native English speaker :)

Okay then. Sorry for the delayed review, but this is finals week, and I'm reviewing this instead of writing that darned paper. Oh well. Anyway. Keith and his sense of humor. If only it would spill over to Anthony/Shawn every now and then. Less bloodshed that way. And is it just me, or do you really like to end chapters in the middle of sex scenes? Or otherwise interrupting them so that we, the readers, are left unsatisfied? (Not a complaint, just an observation.) Still, the whole "Do you want to be blown or not?" part was absolutely hilarious and totally fit. Here's hoping for an uninterrupted resolution to any tensions left over from this chapter in the next.

Oh, I noticed the PAN jokes, it's just that I'm usually too high on sugar to comment on them. -w- Especially when there's so much almost-smut going on. X3 They really can't go two minutes without an argument of some kind, can they? Not even when making out... It's almost as if the argument-free, mutual hand job was a fluke. XP
Meh, oh well. They'll always be Shawn and Anthony, no matter what. *shrug*
As for the Disgaea thing, that's a tough one. I got nuthin' for ya. XP Sorry, Sage.

well anthony and shawn can always torture keith to death by: tying him up, taping his mouth shut and have him listen to every single argument and make up session that shawn and anthony go through. and of course if that doesn't work...poison is always a good deal...i'm pretty sure they have a chemistry classroom...all you need is some latex gloves (to work with the chemicals and of course to not leave fingerprints) mix something up and feed it to keith through anthony's aunt's cookie...*hahaha-insert evil laugh* oh well great chapter and i look forward to reading the next one with the new 'come back' of anthony's masculinity.

lmao XD Keith's just trying to help, but all he succeeds to do is piss off the boys. X3 lol He better watch his back. ;3
I won't suggest a method for Keith's demise. I don't want to be an accessory to murder (even if it's the murder of a fictional character. X3) And I can't think of anything else to say. =P

Okay. I avoided this story, I admit it. The summary didn't reel me in, and every time it showed up on the updates page I would skillfully skip past it thinking -- "This is going to be one of those stories that focus way too strongly on the angst."
Now it's at over thirty chapters and I'm freaking LAZY. So I regret skipping past it that many times, because one of your other stories, Slash Work, did reel me in. So, you're a good writer, DUH, the review count could have told me that much -- but now I have to read Black Star Cross, because authors tend to be well-rounded and able to write multiple good pieces.
SO, I will read this. When I don't have lab reports and final lab exams and ... everything else going on. Because it's long, and I don't stop when I start, and I have to be responsible and a little productive this week.
Because I can't start right away, I decided to drop this note and let you know that you have, or will have, an avid reader. Just because I know I don't review as much as I should. :)

I'm right there with you about not knowing how popular people think/feel. Oh well, it sounded believable enough to me.
Shawn's harangue towards Keith seemed a little sudden, or overblown, but that could have just been me. I suppose it could have been warranted, at least in part. And I adamantly agree with Shawn about Peter: total flamer. And I wonder will he actually help Anthony out, or just make things worse? He seems like that kind of guy. I know a guy like him; he once sent the cheerleaders after his ex-boyfriend; the ex committed suicide. The flamers can be bitches, and Anthony does have a bit of a reputation. Though this is just wild speculation and could very well be completely off the mark. Not like that matters. Keith, though, seems to be going in an interesting direction. On the one hand, he's pretty accepting, not to mention knowledgeable and sympathetic of the popular crowd and their dynamics; on the other hand, he doesn't seem to quite grasp the nature of Shawn's and Anthony's relationship just yet. Though that could just be me. And I am very much interested in this supposedly civil conversation that is about to take place. *fails to imagine violence not occurring*
Can't wait for the next chapter.
