I do love the way you manage to make extremely dubious con adorable. This latest chapter gave me the shivers though. I'm waiting for one of his gods to come to his rescue -- though without a source of fresh water or a wood around I'm a little worried as to how. Or maybe that arcane god might make an appearance. That would work for me, too.

Wow amazing chapter, but what a cliffie! Gah hopefully Horu and/or Mosumato show up to save 'Maro's ass...well maybe not too soon. Haha maybe after Horu'll lock our little theif in a room somewhere to keep him out of the trouble he seems to stumble into with frightening regularity. Can't wait for an update, this story is brilliant!

Thanks for the new chapter. I hope you are feeling better. Nemaro is in a little bit of trouble. I hope nothing horrible happens to the girls. I read the whole story again. I was giggling the whole time. I hope Nemaru can get some help from Horu or Matsumoto before Lord Lanosh gets his hands on him. I dont want anything bad to happen to Nemaru and the girls.

Still, what is the purpose of being a "Gift," other than being a Historian's whore? XP Then again, maybe it was explained somewhere and I was too busy killing Lanosh in my head to pay attention. X3
As much as I want to say "update quicker!", I understand how health issues and real life in general have a way of, well, getting in the way. X3 So, I'll just wait for the next chapter eagerly. ^w^

Hahaha I just started reading this today and it's so amusing! Very funny! I hope Nemaro gets his wits about him and can escape the Lord. Altho I have a feeling Horu will be really upset w/him!
