As to your question, I suppose the little brother would be against the pairing is that he does not want the embarrassment of doing something immoral. The other is he loves the king, he does not want him hurt. He might just despise the prince because he seems to be carefree, almost irresponsible, where as the child does not. It might just be a conflict between personalities. The most important reason is because YOU WANT HIM TO BE THE VILLAIN. Update quickly, please.

Keeps getting better and better. I'm liking the different characters alot. I smell a romance with Quera and Tenaii. And it will be interesting seeing the protagonist's brother also turn out to be one of the story's villains. I like that.
Can anyone figure out the true reason why he’ll be so against Edyane and Meanea being together, before I reveal it?
Is it because Iadden is pushing for a better life for him and Meanea and doesn't want their new -possibly- happier lives with the king being destroyed because of his brother's affair? No, no, or is it because he will he have a crush on Edyane himself?

Oh my goodness! I am bubbling with excitement to read the next chapter and I will do so now. I am glad that you have provided background before beginning the story, many people don't do that, frustrating and confusing me to no end.
