Intriguing~! Thanks for the great chapter, I love that Casey's parents are coming into the picture...! I also love the dynamic she has with her half-brother Jordan--he truly cares for her--as well as the body language between her and Rory. I'm looking forward to the next chapter! And hopefully some more romantic development soon...! ;D

Review chapters 9 and 10. WHERE DO I BEGIN!!!
First, Luscas completely screw up with Casey. Did he ever think how she will feel being a little girl and the only child in the house not being able to say mommy or daddy. He could have said he was her father and her mother was human - something - anything. For her to grow up always knowing she was not his, not calling him dad or daddy was completely wrong. It may have been a good house or a good family, but he made her an outsider in it.
Ok, my first impression of Casey's mother is "what a bitch". She just left one day after getting out of bed AND left her new born baby!!! Then, my second impression was "WHAT A BITCH!!!!". She left and didn't even name her baby!!!. She ran off with a man she loved, but left the baby that should have been a symbol of the LOVE she had the man she ran off with. She gives some crap excuse about not being able to get settled for a year and couldn't come back for her then - BULLSHIT!!! SHE IS HORRIBLE - THE ARE HORRIBLE!!! And I'm not moved by the fact she didn't want to get an abortion, big deal. She didn't want to kill her baby, but it was OK to abandon her. Even if Lucas found a human family to raise her - SHE STILL DESERTED HER!!!
Speaking of the FATHER - Jack. Can't wait to see what he says - I mean he left her too. I was wondering if he was human or not. Now did he just get bit by a vampire or IS he a vampire? Was he a vampire BEFORE Elaine got pregnant or AFTER?
Oh, this time it was Jordan that had a heartfelt moment - when saying he took on the daddy role for her. This, of course, makes me right about how Lucas screwed up. Of course, you left off at the worse possible moment, so now I'm going crazy.

Good chapter. I have to admit, I felt some incest vibes going on there for a bit, but I'm glad that's not the direction of this story.

The plot thickens!!! Overall, the chapter was good, even with the 'cruel' cliff-hanger (lol)!!!! Can't wait to find out why Elaine is in town, and what Scarlet's coming to town bodes for everyone, especially Jordan, Lucas and Rory (obviously she cares nothing for Casey [her loss]). It will be an interesting scene when Casey, Jordan and Rory confront Elaine at the hotel.
One thing: I don't know if it was a typo or glitch when you uploaded, but one of your sentences repeated:
"Jordan had walked to the far end of the deck and down the steps, moving until I guess he felt he was out of earshot of anyone standing too close to a cracked window.
It seemed unnecessary, but Jordan had walked to the far end of the deck and down the steps, moving until I guess he felt he was out of earshot of anyone standing too close to a cracked window."

OH I feel so bad for Casey! I think lucas shoudl have given her a hug to let her know that he does care for her. I am very curious how Rory knows Elaine and what Scarlet coming means! Thanks for the update and i will be waiting for the next one!

Review Chapters 7 and 8. Well, glad to see all my waiting got me at least 2 chapters.
Rory always seems to be seeking Casey out, he doesn't seem to have any one or any place to go. So, the question is - why is he in town for a month and/or why in town at all? Thanks for my answer - Casey has not idea what to do with her life. However, when ever you write Casey breaksdowns (her - I don't know - speech) you put so much emotion, it works and it is heartbreaking. I always feel so sad for her. Like the twist on baby werewolves, it take 2 to make a pup, but I don't think that make Casey human. I think she is half werewolf and half unknown.
Best funny line - "Vampires have to do laundry too" - writing perfection. Then, who was Lucas talk to, MOMMY!!! Wow, she picked a great time to show up.
