Interesting meeting between Casey, Lucas and Jack. I also like how Rory tells Casey to think before doing anything rash like trying to be converted to full werewolf. It seems like he's worried that she'll do it just to feel like she truly belongs to the Pack and her full-blooded werewolf family. Maybe he's worried that her familiy (i.e. her brother) will talk her into becoming one. Or that her old boyfriend might come back and try to be with her again? Also anxious to here what Rory has to say about Scarlet now.

Wow! Awesome new developments. You're amazing at cliff-hangers, by the way.
I love that the dynamic between Lucas and Casey is improving... I hope it lasts! It's great to discover that Casey has more influence than she ever thought possible... but I can totally understand that she's scared about it. She's believed herself to be an uninfluential human for her whole life, and now everything's turned topsy-turvey on her (not to mention meeting her birth parents so suddenly... it's too bad that her mother doesn't seem to care about her).
After reading this chapter I started wishing you had more stories on here that I haven't read. I'm so hooked on your writing! ...So maybe I'll re-read Speak of the Devil.
