Once again, Gatsby, this is a great story! You have quite a knack for creating worlds and setting scenes, not to mention having great characters to inhabit them. I also like your sense of humor for the characters--very subtle, but very affective. First person is a tense I usually get bored with and I don't find many stories pulling it off well, but you do a very good job of that as well. It seems like "Speak of the Devil" was approaching its end; are you planning on continuing with this story soon?

Just seen your story and read all 3 chapters. It was great! Loved her brothers and the fighting on the floor thing. Loved the way she calls the vampire the "dead guy". Of course, I don't think the dead guy is going to be good new for her, but looking forward to it. Great story, can't wait for more.
