I have been a long time reader of yours. The "Lord Emperor Vampire Series" is simply fantastic. You have taken the vampire genre to an entirely new place. While your writing and character insights are funny and witty, there is a truth to it that makes all of your characters believable and compelling. The fact that you can make Sex, Xavier and Azrael realistically share a body and not cause the reader to question it, is a phenomenal accomplishment.
My favorite book used to be "Cake". However "Clove" has driven me out into the open and compelled me to review. I was prepared not to like this book because it did not start out in an up-beat manner, and I feared that it would be a dark story. Your previous stories carried a tone of "everything is going to be okay in the end". "Clove", on the other hand, is quite different than your other stories. The risk you took in writing a darker story was big because you have developed quite the fan base. But I think the risk has paid off because even though this is a darker story, there is an element of hope to it that elevates your writing and your story to a very high level.
You have presented a great challenge for your protagonists to overcome, and because you are doing it well, it makes it a joy to read. You are keeping your fans on the edge of their seats wondering which way you will take the story.
Fantastic job and I am looking forward to your next update.

Yay! More vampire goodness! You really do update quickly and I love that! You really do have a great read here and I'm so excited when an update comes out. By the way--I love Claudius!!! He's my favorite vamp! This is like a cliff hanger! Can I wait until next time? Ahh! I hope so!

Just commenting again because the killing of the cat just got to me out of no where. I am thinking like damn...he remembers that cats could be something else too. SHADE could whip his butt!!! Also i thought since Shade and Morose and Snowflake where stuck with him. Couldnt they find him? Or Haley with his supersonic smell? How did they find him all of a sudden and why did it take so long??? QUESTIONS..... Also that the scent of apples gets to him that must mean that it is Xavi who is in charge. Cloves would ahve got to sex. Az might also be in charge.
Come back to us safe and sound. Loyally but impatiently waiting....

That was the only thought I had when I read the part about the vampires entering the club. THEY FUCKING FOUND HIM!
